I quite like the idea of him getting a job delivering for Evri.

he'd rob the parcels, always after something for nothing

And KC has made the statement. Backbone at last. He has finally had enough. Thank goodness.

I detest Andrew and he has no place in public life.

But - as a side issue, I do feel for KC (and William). KC has had an absolutely shit time since becoming king and the Harry issue, his cancer and now this scandal will have caused him so much stress.

I hope he can move on soon because all this isn’t going to help his health.

It is 100% nothing to do with doing the right thing! The royals have shown that time and time again - it’s desperate damage limitation 🤬

Andrew has surrendered the lease not being 'removed'.

Tana433 · 30/10/2025 20:23

Thankyou for all the replies to my question. I thought that might have been the case..

Or delivering pizzas

In and around Woking!

I agree - I suspect lawyers went over that statement and that sentence is there to show that he (Andrew) is not admitting any wrongdoing.

However to follow it immediately with the sentence about victims of abuse is as close to an admission that the King believes that there have been victims of abuse despite Andrew’s denials.

It’s an extraordinary statement.

It's pretty clear that the King thinks his behaviour was inappropriate, even if he hadn't been prosecuted.

No thanks, i don't want him turning up on my doorstep.

If he worked for Evri there would be no chance of him turning up on your doorstep...

Comicalblackcat · 30/10/2025 20:24

What will happen to Sarah Ferguson, all she did was move in with Andrew, no lease in her name so she’s just been squatting with no legal rights?

ShenandoahRiver · 30/10/2025 20:24

No idea why my post was hidden. I was referencing Arthur Smyth who in 2022 waived his anonymity to name Lord Mountbatten as his abuser in Kincora Boys Home in Belfast. The RF have a habit of protecting abusers in their bosom.

I think any decent human being would be shocked by his behaviour.

Virtual signaling a go go. Princess Anne had to put up with the fact that her ex husband had a child while he was married to her.

wordler · 30/10/2025 20:24

Tana433 · 30/10/2025 20:18

Did Princess Anne and Prince Edward decide that their children would not be known as Prince or Princess or is it because Anne is female and Edward was the youngest? Because surely if Beatrice and Eugenie are 'Princesses, why are the other 'children'?

Edwards children are Prince and Princesses automatically as grandchildren of a monarch from a male child but their parents said from the beginning they would not be using their titles.

Anne’s kid’s were not automatically entitled to the titles because they aren’t passed down by daughters. I think the Queen offered to make their father a Duke/Earl so they could have Lord and Lady titles but Anne said no.

So at this point George and Louis's future kids would be Prince/ess but not Charlotte’s.

Let’s hope Harry is next

On what grounds?!?!

Edward decided his weren't going to be known as Prince and Princess(they can still be but he didn't want them to be), and it seems to have helped them live a relatively normal life. Louise was working in a garden centre.

Princess Anne's wouldn't be unless Mark Philips accepted a title and he refused.

I thought Anne had declined titles or royal roles for them - but please correct me if this is wrong.

Prince Philip saw out his days there.

I might have found it. It seems to be near a place called Wolferton. A few miles from the future King's other home.

AguNwaanyi · 30/10/2025 20:25

I’ll applaud when he’s behind bars.

mightyducks · 30/10/2025 20:25

Very pleased about this , should have happened a long time ago .. can’t help thinking this is a pre emptive strike before something else hits the press

Edward chose not to use the titles prince/princess for his children, although he had the right to, and Anne, whose children had no right to titles, apparently turned down titles for her children.

Kidsgotothatschool · 30/10/2025 20:24

On what grounds?!?!

Exactly this. Why is Harry being dragged into it?

AntiqueBooks · 30/10/2025 20:26

This doing it by degrees looks awful. Like they're trying to test how little they can get away with in terms of public reaction. Like they're only giving him sanctions because they have to, not because it's the right thing to do.

I suspect there is more to come out and/or legal proceedings afoot.

I sincerely hope no human being (servant) ever calls him "your royal highness" or "sir" or "Prince Andrew" or bows to him EVER AGAIN.

Andrew to move to Sandringham estate, funded by King

It's understood that Prince Andrew will move to a property on the private Sandringham estate in Norfolk.

It will be privately funded by the King.

So he will still live in luxury in the bosom of his family with his rent paid

Yes, she did
.Plus, as pp have said, Edward was pretty much the same, but their kids have the courtesy titles of children of a Duke.

I wonder how much of Charles' reluctance was because the late Queen clearly had an Andrew shaped blind spot. I think we can all agree that the palace should have acted decisively much earlier but they have finally got there.

Disgraceful isn’t it? Their private wealth comes from us!!
