We are fed a steady diet of what is wrong with Meghan according to the tabloids.

Maybe because there are so many ingredients?

Beesandhoney123 · 17/09/2025 00:23

the focus really has to be on my dad

I expect Camilla reached for the fags on hearing that. And didnt have to go into the garden. And charles muttered ' well bloody stop making it all about you then'

So, is h coming back with Meg and the kids? How awkward. Its rather Jane Austen - like having Mr and Mrs Wickham descend on you and you can't pretend you're out forever.

Needspaceforlego · 17/09/2025 01:03

Not a chance will he be coming back with Meghan.
The kids maybe just maybe but I also think C&C will be wary of having to much time in Rent-a-mouths company incase they let anything slip they don't want to be made public knowledge

Kate and her family had a lot of unkind things written about them. The papers used to love tearing down James Middleton for his varying degrees of success in business. Having read his book, I know he was going through a really tough time mentally during that period. Those stories could have pushed him over the edge.

He’s also severely dyslexic, and as the mum/granny to (currently) 4 Dyslexics loved ones I can safely say, despite the general misconception that “it doesn’t just cause problems with reading and make you write numbers/letters backwards”

It so much more than that and every day can be very difficult.

If you hit the react button on a post you get thanks, agree & love.
Laugh emoji was there for a bit before going AWOL.

NewAgeNewMe · 17/09/2025 07:40

It would come up here

"Prince Harry" : I didn't air any dirty laundry in public

Apparently some people felt they were being bullied as other posters were using the Laugh emoji to laughter at them instead of their post.
I wish - if people can't cope with been laughed at - MN would at least bring in something that stands for "Good/funny post" which is what I usually want to convey; gratitude & agreement don't really cover that and love is a bit strong.
Perhaps the ability for people to turn off reactions if they get upset by being laughed at would help?

Thedom · 17/09/2025 07:49

The Rebel Royals on Netflix is worth a watch, if only to observe the biggest fraud ever in operation, he is gay and so camp, only turned bisexual when he met the Norwegian Princess. He has been accused of sexually assaulting men during his Shaman sessions. He brings up Meghan and Harry and how he suffered racism like Meghan did. They were both respectful about the Norwegian RF, but the guy is another level. They also blame the press and claim the Norwegian people love him, yeah right !

And infuriatingly, I am being forced to use the silly app as MN is not loading and freezing all the time
on my browser, and the only reaction emoji available on the app is the “wavy hand thanks” 😡😡

I'm not upset by them - I find them entertaining, in a car crash/can't look away.

Like the Kardashians, but with flower sprinkles.

From the balcony of Buckingham Palace as 4th (would be now 3rd) Lord & Lady of the Realm and President and Vice President of the Commonwealth Trust to 2nd rate IG influencers peddling pre-packaged pancake mix and tea bags is a fall from grace rarely seen before. Especially because it was all self inflicted.

As I say - entertaining.

It has a couple of layers for me.

Watching their grandiose and delusional words and behaviour that they serve up directly to the public almost daily spectacularly backfire is both highly entertaining and deeply satisfying.

It’s satisfying to see these grifters exposed for being disingenuous, arrogant, entitled, shallow and inept when we know from multiple reports over many years on both sides of the Atlantic that they have routinely and relentlessly bullied dozens of staff and colleagues to the extent that some have been hounded from their livelihoods whilst others required medical intervention to alleviate the mental injury inflicted by MM.

This is what they do, and who they are, behind closed doors.

But even on a global public platform they choose to earn their living by smearing, degrading, accusing and blighting the lives of their immediate family.

In addition they are happy to be publicly seen with and hence endorse the vile online bullying campaigns run in their name by SS.

This is who they are - nasty, relentless bullys in every facet of their existence - they are arrogant and entitled enough to believe they can denigrate and subjugate other human beings just doing their job or to make $$$$ with zero consequences.

Personally I don’t think they have faced any accountability directly for their behaviour to date, so to see them continue to present a fake humanitarian persona and then their disingenuous word-salad and self-serving, grifting actions backfire and get ripped apart is amusing and satisfying.

Without wishing to sound disrespectful, can you appreciate though MrsFinkelstein that being Lord and Lady of the Realm is utterly meaningless to a lot of people and some of us find it hard to care about those positions?

Personally, I think it’s much more important to enjoy your time with your spouse and children in an environment free of toxicity and stress, so some of us find it hard to categorise this as a “fall from grace”.

Also that peddling wares is a way of being financially independent and therefore nothing to be ashamed about?

I don’t think Kate never gets awfil things said about her. She gets a bit of it now and then. Meghan however gets much more negative articles than positive. There’s a definite bias imo.

The worst I’ve seen them come up with lately about Kate and William are that they are boring. I was told they are supposed to be boring so I’m not sure why the media is faulting them for that?

The British press have followed the same playbook they used in the 80s with Diana and Sarah Ferguson with Catherine and Meghan. Can’t actually believe that no one sat Meghan down and explained to her how it was going to go and that Harry didn’t realise.

Or pointed out to them how it goes when the RF get involved in anything commercial: Edward, Sophie, Sarah and Peter have all come croppers one way or another to a greater or lesser extent, Zara has just about managed to avoid it and Andrew’s only got away with it thus far on the back of the fact he was technically working for the UK.

Only difference now is the amount of ammo H&M keep giving the press by their own words and the need for cheap clickbait forcing repeat articles. And again, surely between the RF and H&M’s allegedly long stream of advisors, all of this has been pointed out.

social media is not the same as the press.

I wouldn't care about Lord and Lady of the Realm position but Harry and Meghan especially seem really status conscious.

I think if they were happy just living their lives they get a lot less flack. As it is they seem to spend so much time away from the kids and a lot of effort on PR - constant leaking about what they are doing and faux royal tours and taking pop shots at UK and the RF.

I get they need to make money despite Harry inheriting more money than anyone I know - but I think they could have found different ways of doing it that left them with more dignity and credibility in tact and with more obvious success.

I think that would have been hard path to walk but possible but their behavior everywhere got their cards marked and their options are rapdily diminishing. She over sold the shop thing - instead of building it up over years. Again and again it seems to be impatience and humbris that stops them making a success of anything and that's despite Meghan having got to a respectable place (though again often over sold) with her acting career which did take years and years of effort.

For me I don’t care where they are, or where they were, or where they wanted to be on some invented social strata whether that’s ’Royal’ or ‘Hollywood Elite’.

What I do care about is how some people (this couple) wield their power and privilege to emotionally violate and subjugate other human beings just to line their own pockets - and worse pretend they are compassionate humanitarians.

They have lots to be ashamed about.

I think there were lots of US PR people telling her it would work and would be different - plus I don't think she was listening to RF advice at all and Harry seems to be completely unware about anything TBH and seem to think it wasn't his job to tell her anything or offer her support.

Pollqueen · 14/09/2025 22:59

I wondered that. How did Jews ruin his trip? Mind boggling
I do wonder how Meghan puts up with him as she's always come across as pretty intelligent whilst Harry is not the brightest pixie in the forest. Doesn't he irritate her?

I used to think she was intelligent because she comes across as quite articulate and sharp but now I wonder… she’s just as bad for telling provably untrue things on huge public platforms, and she clearly thought her “curtsying to the queen” story was going to be hilarious and make everyone think the royals are ridiculous. She has terrible judgement.

mummypigoink · 17/09/2025 11:08

@CatHairEveryWhereNow that’s a fair point about US advice being different if that was the market they were going for. And I don’t know how they’re perceived in the US generally.

The smartest people can make points quickly, succinctly and respond and reply in the same manner

Long winded waffle isn’t a sign of intelligence, just an over inflated self confidence and an expensive education trying to masquerade as intelligence.

she over rates her own intelligence and under rates ours, changing stories being a perfect example. Harry however does the same so they are perfectly suited

It's not even a sign of an expensive education.
