Why isn't Harry attending the Duchess of Kent's funeral? I've just looked for that photo for Harry's birthday. The message and photo are beyond bizarre.

I have taken an old photo of my husband with his dogs. But I've played with it until I'm happy with contrast, saturation, colour and I would have cropped and 🖼️ it.

It must be very tiring hitting the right balance in a conversation that you cannot trust not to be repeated. An hour is long enough.

Ah, come on. She was well known! Plus the late Queen always included the Kents at the Trooping etc. I've seen pictures of Harry at most of the Kent weddings. He certainly knew her.

I think it is odd that he didn't stay on for the Duchess of Kent's funeral.

I’m not saying she was - just that it’s not particularly shocking that he won’t be at her funeral. He’s (very publicly) stepped back from both royal duties and the Royal Family itself; given that they’re unlikely to have been particularly close, it’s unsurprising that he’s not attending when he wouldn’t be doing so in an official capacity.

To be fair he's probably not invited to the funeral.
Hes pretty much LC or NC with his family. Trust has gone they probably don't want him potentally snooping around looking for fooder for his next book

Wasn't Harry next door neighbour to the Duke and Duchess of Kent for about 6 years when he lived at Kensington Palace? I'm pretty sure that Nottingham Cottage is next door to Wren Cottage.

Also, if Harry is indeed hinting that Charles has a short time to live, then William shouldn't be criticized for organizing his Duchy and spending time with his family while he still can do so.
