Andrew is almost universally disliked so threads tend to be shorter as there is no disagreement .
I have never seen anyone defend Andrew .

I had to argue with a woman who was defending Prince Andrew. The royal threads make me sick. Even now you are trying to make them the same they are not.

I was reading it totally differently I was reading it as he wants to get back in with his family because hes ready to leave Meghan and being isolated, no family, few friends. And his kids are isolated from cousins ie their future support network.

One of the papers printed that he wants the kids to go to school in the UK. Which I assumed was because he knows the UK press will leave them alone but has no guarantee of that in the states.

And I think there are fewer threads about him because threads come from a) new information, and there are threads about him when new stuff comes out, and b) disagreement. A thread about Andrew is generally just posters agreeing he’s awful.

I also took the year comment to mean Charles is in very poor health.

But Harry also knows if he doesn't rebuild the bridges with Charles his chances with William would be between zero and f-all.

All the Andrew threads are boring, everyone agrees he is an awful human being, so they fizzle out.

I have seen some posters argue from a legal point of view, and some disagree with labels placed on Andrew which they feel are not accurate. - But they do not in any way defend his actions or behaviors.

But pretty much everyone agrees he is awful and anyone saying hang on I think he's a nice chap is shot down.

I don't know about the Royal thread category specifically, but the PP is correct. There have been threads where people defend Andrew, say the picture with him and Giuffre are faked, or it doesn't mean he slept with her, or she wasn't underage by British standards, PA was naive etc etc etc.

I have to agree that compared with M&H Andrew does not receive the same amount of comment. I appreciate however, that on a whole most people think him despicable so probably don't consider him worth commenting about in the first place.

Andrew is largely irrelevant. The king has as I understand it pretty much put him in a cupboard where he will remain for the rest of his life. I doubt he will be wheeled out in any official capacity. He isn’t courting the press, and right now is pretty much hiding from them. He hasn’t written a book about how hard done by he is, and he won’t unless he wants to find himself homeless. He is entirely dependant on his brother to live.
Harry on the other hand needs to be in the spotlight to make a living. He wants people to talk about him. I’m sure he’d rather they said nice things about him but unless he is even dimmer than generally thought he surely knows that whining to the press every five seconds will not bring him popularity, just column inches. If for example the RF were trying to rehabilitate Andrew I think comments about him would increase in venom.

After King Charles was diagnosed, one of the American showbiz magazines printed a story claiming to know the specific cancer he had and his prognosis, which was picked up around the world but obviously not published in the UK. At the time it was suspected the leak to the mag had come from Montecito after Harry's mad dash to the UK. When I read Harry's comment about his dad being the priority in the coming year, I did think it that it tallied with what the mag had printed.
