IF Prince Andrew met 40 escorts in Thailand, do you think they were all female? Do you know or is it 'alleged'? Did he have sexual intercourse with every one of them three times a day or did he just give them a bit of a look-over?

Should we be told?

Should he be questioned about it by the FBI or Rachel Reeves?

When John Major was having it off with the egg lady MP was that all on my tax-payer's money?

When the Covid health minister was snogging his friend in a cupboard at Westminster was he doing that on my taxpayer's money?

When John Prescott was having it off with another woman at the House of Commons was that all on my taxpayer's money?

I'll try and find time today to write a letter to HMRC about quite something of a rebate.

He is a seedy bastard. And entitled too.

Seedy and entitled is a pretty good description for the whole lot of them.

Yep, pretty accurate description I'd say. Bloody revolting 😤

I don't really have much to add really 😂

Imho there is enough credible information in AL’s book to justify calling for a government enquiry or a review by the national crime agency. How was Prince Andrew allowed to get away with breaking corruption laws and how was it covered up for years?

It really pisses me off that they are NEVER held to account. One set of rules for them and another for us plebs.Things need to change, but sadly never will.

An investigation into his financial dealings etc would be great but can you really see any serious adverse consequences for him?
He's never going to do jail time, and financial retribution would be paid out of the family coffers anyway, like his mum did when she paid off the woman who accused him of sexual abuse.
He just be shipped off somewhere as remote as possible, IMO. (Probably just temporarily too.)
And yes, of course that's all kinds of wrong.

I agree but maybe something concrete could come out of it if it is agreed and proven that the RF can no longer be trusted to self administer and publish their own finances and they need outside independent oversight.

Theunamedcat · 22/08/2025 12:29

How would spending more money get back what was spent years ago? and if they found out that it didn't happen or they couldn't prove it? Money wasted on a finger pointing exercise let's deal with the issues of today we have more than enough of them without frothing about randy Andy from yesteryear

Yes, this is the problem. They are never, and will never, be held to account. They're all untouchable, no matter how heinous the crime.

Allegedly because the Queen did it. She covered it up, she gave the orders.

The Head of State of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth Realms enabled a sordid sex trafficker to carry on uninterrupted for years.

Put a pin in that.

DelphiniumBlue · 22/08/2025 12:50

I don't understand how the monarchy still exists, or if it does, how this particular family have remained top dogs.
There used to be warrior kings up to and including Henry VIII, they were hardened fighters and strategists, protecting their domains and position. Violent thugs, a lot of them, but you could see why they were king, they were the strongest ones around. They fought constantly to maintain their authority and and possessions, they were the typical dominant alpha male. The crown wasn't automatically inherited by the eldest son, there was a witan to choose a king from a pool of eligibles, if it wasn't grabbed by a self-selected earl. It may have been unfair, there are hosts of reasons why that system is no more, but you could see how the rulers obtained and held on to their position, by their own personal efforts.
Compare that with the current bunch of entitled wasters - who is keeping them on the throne? They certainly don't have enough get up and go to fight to keep their position. If people really want a monarchy, why hasn't someone more suitable been put in place, or muscled their way in? Do any of us think that the king has done anything to deserve his position? If we want someone from that family, surely Anne is by far the better choice?
It is in someone's interests to be keeping Charles on the throne, to be protecting his lowlife brother, I just can't work out who or why! Why are there no challengers?

dogcatkitten · 22/08/2025 13:02

A lot of men go to Thailand because it's easy and cheap to pick up girls and boys. Difficult to prove that any offence was committed under Thai or UK law.

When was this meant to have happened (Is there any proof that it did?) was Andrew on the civil list at the time?

Andrew always seemed to me like a big baby with an inflated opinion about himself. He did redeem himself a bit for me in the Falklands war, a pity he didn't carry on in that sort of roll, it gave him a purpose and real ordinary friends.

It's alleged to have happened during his time as tax payer funded Trade Envoy.

He also allegedly used the role to enable his own hustles on the side and jaunt round the world's top golf courses.

The subsequent sealing of the records of his time as Trade Envoy is a disgrace and I suspect what we do know is only the tip of the iceberg.

ginasevern · 22/08/2025 14:39

If this lot were heads of state and lauded by the populace in an African country, just imagine the sneers.

jumpingthehighjump · 22/08/2025 14:48

When was this meant to have happened (Is there any proof that it did?) was Andrew on the civil list at the time?

He had a taxpayer funded role as Trade Envoy. Whilst he was on these trips, he was staying longer to do golf all round the world, then sleazy sex with 40 women in Thailand and a lot we don't even know about because guess what? All of his travel records, how much money was involved, who he took on these taxpayer funded jaunts... all records have been sealed for 40 years. How convenient.
Oh, and apparently he took Epstein on a couple of these trips.

I think if it all came out, there would be a national outcry.

And he has been fully protected by QE2 whilst this has been going on for decades. It was brought to her attention many a time, right back to when he was in his twenties, it was all brushed under the carpet. He was untouchable. They all are.

Doing business in Thailand can be … challenging. Not just Thailand, other countries too, but this personal story comes from when I accompanied some very senior men to Thailand and Malaysia on a work trip.

There was a reception planned, which I attended with them, but my bosses where then whisked away later in the evening. I heard the story from them over breakfast the next day. Their local hosts had taken them to a very high class establishment where sex workers were essentially laid on for them, and they were expected to partake in what was on offer. Both declined, to the utter bemusement of their hosts, ordered a taxi together and ran back to the safety of our hotel. They said it was the most awkward experience of their professional lives!

I’ve also had male colleagues driven off to strip clubs in other countries that they were expected to enjoy as well. I have no idea what happened at Andrew’s party, obviously, but know from experience that things not always what they seem.

jumpingthehighjump · 22/08/2025 16:31

Are you saying @Serenster that Andrew didn't have sex with 40, or indeed, ANY women whilst in Thailand?
Saying 'things are not always what they seem' does seem to suggest that.

I can only look at Andrew's behaviour before then, and after, and assume he didn't go running into the night when the opportunity arose to have sex with a thai woman. Given his long friendship with a sexual predator and paedophile, the idea he was shocked and turned this down doesn't ring true for me. You are of course entitled to your opinion on this, as am I. .

Apparently the story of a rolling room sex orgy in Thailand whilst on official duty has long been circulating within the royal press pack.

Andrew Lownie has sources in Thailand and has spent several years researching the Thai monarchy, so I am inclined to believe him.

So you think a dirty, sex obsessed perv turned down sex offered on a plate? Ok

No, of course I’m not saying that - I wasn’t there and don’t know Andrew. Butthat applies to all of us - none of us know what happened, do we? It’s just a general caution that judging without all the facts isn’t generally wise.
