So if Harry adopts, will the adopted child be added to the long list of heirs to the British throne? If not it could be a great idea. They're rich and self sufficient (I think???) so as long as it doesn't cost the British taxpayer a penny I'm all for it.

Don’t think an adopted child would be in the LOS but wondering if they would be Prince/ Princess?

I highly doubt there is anything to this rumour, but heirs have to be 'born of the body'. So no, a hypothetical adopted child would not be in the LoS.

To get back on thread - she could be successful with a podcast, she has a pleasant voice to listen to (when she doesn't put on that affected vocal fry), she just needs to find something that works for her. It's a very saturated market and IMO to make it work you have to find a subject you're really passionate about - she hasn't done this yet. Will she? Who knows, but it's not easy to do.

As to featuring both Lilli and Archie's voices on her IG - I find it annoying. It's a complete own goal for her - if you make a plank of your advocacy the online safety of children online and are trying to limit children's access to SM, DO NOT put your own children on. Only showing glimpses is not protecting them. It snacks of monetising them and I find that very uncomfortable.

As to Lilli's voice she sounds like she's a bit choked with the cold.

Well, the only thing Meghan is passionate about is Meghan.

And the podcast is all about Meghan.

So I would say she has found her niche. The trouble is, audiences don't consider Meghan anywhere near as interesting as Meghan herself does.

I guess there's levels of success. There's the 'superstars' like Joe Rogan who allegedly make millions a year. The various 'Rest of' Goalhanger podcasters supposedly make 5 figures per episode. And of course there will be lots of others who aren't on that level but still make a tidy sum from podcasting. On the other hand, many will struggle to make any money at all.

But yes, it's a saturated market and to draw a loyal audience you have to produce content that draws people in, not just out of curiosity but genuine sustained interest. And for that you have to work hard and actually have something to say. Neither seems true in Meghan's case.

I started listening to a podcast a while ago that was rewatching a tv series with a really dedicated fan base. But they didn't get the listens and only had one series. It must be hard to get sufficient subscribers when you aren't original or have much content.
