It's not good news for Meghan. The podcast by Meghan is out of the Spotify 100 in the US and the UK. With Apple it's not even in the top 200 chart.

The oddest thing with the push on social media is the lack of likes when the narrative is that they are super popular outside of the tabloids and a section of jealous racist white women. I also don't understand Netflix pushing this, unless there is the promise of more tell all documentaries on the table. I blocked the bloke from TikTok but he still manages to appear as shares on Twitter.

They need to downsize and move to a less exclusive area for a start. Somewhere their wealth fits in better than it does where they currently are which means they’ll forever be trying and failing miserably to keep up with the Joneses.

The birthday photograph of Princess Charlotte has her on a rugged hillside wearing a waterproof in camouflage colours with a design in very English oak leaves. She has a rucksack on her back. The waterproof is really unusual (Copley, I've just Googled), and lovely. I've never seen one like it before, and I live near the Peak District!

It's really easy to slip into a mindset where everything a person says or does has hidden meaning or a hidden message. Social media is full of speculation and the tabloids amplify it because it brings them clicks. I'm not saying it never happens I just tend to believe it happens far far less than it seems to.

And being a PR professional must turn your antenna up to 11!

I wasn't sure if she had invested in all of them. If she has then it's not really a serious podcast but more of a product placement.

I doubt MM invested in Jamie Kern Lima's IT Cosmetics or the dating app billionaire woman from the first week - but it wouldn't surprise me if she tried to tap both of them up to invest in her. Also, I really think JKL is part of some very strange cult group along with Oprah (her mentor) and those other "Godmothers" from the bookshop. I think MM is skating on the edge of whatever it is those women are about.

The advantage of getting on people in whom she's invested is both product placement that benefits her own pocket, and the guarantee that they will pucker up and kiss her arse. With regard to the product placement, though, I'm surprised there aren't there rules in broadcast media in the US about promoting a product but not declaring that is happening.
