It's not good news for Meghan. The podcast by Meghan is out of the Spotify 100 in the US and the UK. With Apple it's not even in the top 200 chart.

Sara Davies did a podcast interview with 2 chaps , its worlds apart from the sickly , self congratulatory drivel of Meghan's and Jamie's

JADS · 01/05/2025 09:08

The problem Meghan's podcast has is that she uses the same introduction question each time - let's discuss how we first met.

Actually, it not even a proper question.

It's not tell us about your business, your career. It centres the conversation on Meghan which is really boring. Once you have waded through adverts and the meet cute story, it's already 15 minutes in and your brain has turned to syrup.

Its basically:

Let's talk about how you met me and how amazing that was for you.

IdaGlossop · 01/05/2025 09:58

JADS · 01/05/2025 08:08

I was going to say this.

Ida you are a hero with your O negative universal donor blood type.

Please take your bow.

'Mumsnet loves me so much!'

Thedom · 01/05/2025 10:21

that is a miserable listenership considering how much promotion she did for it.

“”Podchaser estimates that COAFF has had between 36,000 and 46,000 listens since launch — which is, in As Ever terms, hundreds of thousands of flower sprinkles less than Obama’s show. It’s No. 158 on the Apple chart and didn’t crack on Spotify’s Top 100. For someone who generates as much press as she does, that figure suggests a disconnect. “

Anyone seen the funny memes doing the rounds about guessing the name based on using only, very obvious, first letters of the name. Some hilarious ones.

MrsLeonFarrell · 01/05/2025 11:34

The blood type comment is very strange. I've known people for 20 years and it's never occurred to me to discuss my blood type.

I've never actually been ashamed of my blood group by association before 😂

NewAgeNewMe · 01/05/2025 12:09

I’m in royal company. A+. I’ve been married for nearly 30 years and no idea of dh's type, never mind any friends!

FeathersForFun · 01/05/2025 12:36

foreverblowingbubbless · 30/04/2025 19:42

I thought you were joking but I checked and OMG they are there 😂

Hunters? Please. They're passé and poorly made. Kate's Le Chameau on the other hand are timeless and impeccably crafted.

MaturingCheeseball · 01/05/2025 12:37

[preen] I’m an overachieving blood group too! Must tell my blood to circulate to my brain, as the blood there seems to be B negative…

I watched the Jamie podcast. My word! It can’t be for real - they are both completely mad. Googled Jamie woman and she has been a hustler for years, desperate to be famous. And that book she’s plugging - there’s a whole Netflix series waiting to be made about that and the types who buy into her “programme”. She was mentioning God in the podcast so I expect it’s the same demographic she’s chasing as the ones who go to see those evangelists in stadiums.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 01/05/2025 12:42

Are they daring the parliament and the royal family now?

I can't answer that, @jeffgoldblum, but it hardly seems to matter any more

There's nothing, absolutely nothing the palace can do which could improve on the job H&M are making of painting themselves in a ridiculous light, so why bother?
The institution plays the longer game at all times, and at least right now the most that can be said is that they "didn't try to stop him", as if that's even possible.
Interfere and it could just get worse, so I guess they're just watching things play out along with the rest of us - though maybe with a rescue plan for Harry if it's needed

Yes , you are right! @Puzzledandpissedoffits just all so ridiculous and unseemly, the very article that they are clapping back at was from America and one of their sources!
no where has it been officially reported that William wants to remove their titles let alone give them the merest thought.
so self serving, so self destructive!

The RF are doing well to sit on their hands and just watch - it must be so tempting to say something. Like right now, re the HRH thing, maybe something about how disappointing it is to see close family members openly disrespecting QE2’s wishes when the rest of them miss her so dearly and hold her memory in such high regard.
And then wait for the fireworks from Montecito…

But they’re right, probably best to just sit it out and not risk an unseemly slanging match.

Most of the reports of them having their titles removed seem to be on X (along with stories of KC stepping down) which means someone is looking at social media.

Meghan is wrong. My blood group, O neg, is over-achieving because it can be given to absolutely anyone, without testing. A+ can only be given to A+ and AB+. On this occasion to, she opens her mouth and bollocks fall out of it.

If that was her blood type she would probably say something like its a philanthropist just like her, selflessly saving humanity one drop at a time.

I'm sure it is tempting, yes, but apart from there being no point, they also have to think about how it'll look in that longer term

Many of us believe its unlikely to end well, and at least this way nobody can say - at least while expecting to be taken seriously - that they should have said or done such-and-such

Because they've wisely given no public reaction at all, and there's no knowing what happens in private

Profhilodisaster · 01/05/2025 15:30

She's been caught in another fib .

*Dated article 13:23, Wed, May 29, 2024.
"Sources reveal that the Sussexes have opted to keep childcare within the family, with Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, taking on the role of the children's nanny. The source says that the decision for Doria to step up followed a series of unsuccessful partnerships with professional nannies in the past few years".

Yet in Jamies interview Markle told us that she has a nanny, and has done for 5 years, but... in 2024 she was saying that her Mum was taking on the role of nanny*

foreverblowingbubbless · 01/05/2025 15:37

Does Meghan donate her life saving blood?

Why does she lie so much ? She MUST know that she will be found out ?

PigglyWigglyOhYeah · 01/05/2025 16:11

The 'series of unsuccessful partnerships with professional nannies' speaks volumes. Isn't Maria Borrallo still with the Wales family after all these years? I simply can't imagine why there would be a high staff turnover in the Sussex household...

PigglyWigglyOhYeah · 01/05/2025 16:13

Wait. Now even I am confused. Is Doria now being referred to as the nanny (as in 'the same nanny for five years')? Bit rude. Or just more lies. I can't decide.

Didn’t they fire a nanny in the middle of the night?

BasiliskStare · 01/05/2025 16:25

The only reason I know DH's blood group is because I am Rhesus negative & if pregnant it makes a difference if the father is +. I have no idea what DS's blood group is.

Re Meghan being interviewed by a proper interviewer , which we know will never happen - I'd settle for Mrs Merton (God rest her soul) - So Meghan , what first attracted you to the multimillionaire Prince of the Realm , Harry. 😂

Why is there need to compare these two families at every opportunity. They live on opposite sides of the world and have nothing to do with each other. As far as I am aware we have never seen any of the Sussex nannies. Is the nanny the wales family have the one who wears the hat and looks like a school ma’am?
