It's not good news for Meghan. The podcast by Meghan is out of the Spotify 100 in the US and the UK. With Apple it's not even in the top 200 chart.

Re the gift basket - just why would you send a personal present to someone and send it with compliments.

It reminds me of a greetings card I saw once:
"To Whom it May Concern
You are a very special person"

Vespanest · 29/04/2025 08:49

I have a feeling that if the judgement goes against them then Harry is going to say that it goes against the Sandringham agreement and all bets are off. He knows he's in a position of saying what he wants as there will be no response, time will tell if they go too far.

IAmATorturedPoet · 29/04/2025 08:53

Could it be that they already know the judgement outcome?

Profhilodisaster · 29/04/2025 08:54

Harry is between a rock and a hard place, if he pulls Meghan up on using the HRH then he may incur her wrath and if he doesn't then he pisses the RF off , which isn't great if he is trying to build bridges.

thinktwice36 · 29/04/2025 08:56

@Bellsize Heather Mills McCartney is horribly accurate….the whole thing can’t possibly end well.

Profhilodisaster · 29/04/2025 09:13

I don't know who this was for but she's now Miss Meghan

Miss Megan 😆

Mylovelygreendress · 29/04/2025 09:16

Anyway , W and C are in Scotland today ( their wedding anniversary) so I await today’s stunt from Montecito.

JADS · 29/04/2025 09:27

Isn't ice cream a bit of a mad thing to put in a gift basket? I realise that Meghan's jam is more of a 'sauce', but everything about this feels weird.

And no she should not be using HRH. She's poking the bear. I suspect she has still been using it privately.

Who wants their lover / husband to say they're like their mother. Icky.

Mummy .....give me a sausage

I wonder if PH would dare use the HRH?

He presumably wants a way back to his family - MM doesnt and wont ever set foot in the UK.

I agree that this is piqued egos and narc rage against being grey rocked.

The RF have played the long game and should continue to do so. Every single action M&H take diminishes them further whilst the calm and gracious pivot and focus of the RF on endeavours with integrity just grows the gulf wider. H&M should be left in the dust in the rear view mirror. They are an example of emotional ignorance and immaturity.

Seriously this is Meghan's mind

It is interesting that the claim is that she only uses it amongst friends, when friends would normally be the last people you would use it with. I wouldn't consider someone a friend if they used a title in a note.

Isn't it a bit odd to use a title, any title, with friends? I'd find it strange if my friend signed her emails to me as 'Dr.' even though I'm proud she has a PhD.🤔

True, "marrying a prince" is the pinnacle of her achievement and the reason for her wealth, privilege and access to opportunities like Netflix etc.

I can tell you what she’s not doing…piling on hate towards someone she doesn’t know like half the people on here. That makes her a winner in my eyes by comparison.

FeathersForFun · 29/04/2025 09:46

elessar · 29/04/2025 08:47

@SerensterI agree, it feels like a very deliberate choice. In other cards and announcements we’ve seen from her it’s been either “Meghan” or “the Duchess of Sussex”

HRH hasn’t made an appearance on anything publicly for years - so either they’ve been using this covertly all this time to friends and this time it happened to be leaked (seems unlikely) or this is a deliberate choice. It feels like they might be goading the RF - they’ve been grey rocked for years, not engaged with and not challenged on any of the things they’ve done to make money that skirt very close to the wind (or even cross the line) on the use of their titles to make money.

I wonder if this is M saying to Harry- look, your family are ignoring us so what’s to stop us using our HRH, nothing will be done about it anyway. A first test of the water of this approach.

if so, it will be interesting to see if there is any reaction from the RF if this continues. I think at some point there would have to be as this feels like a step beyond something they can just ignore, particularly if it carries through to public appearances and so on (rather than just comp slips on gift baskets)

I also think selling The Walse Dc' clothing online is designed to provoke and the comments about the royal family in the podcast, being in the trenches, MM sounds unwell, they're trying to get a reaction that damages the RF. And posting snippets of the Sussex kids is trolling Charles. This is all quite somewhat damaging to the RF as all this petty nonsense undermines the seriousness of the institution. What might be the RF's long term strategy?

If Meghan hates the U.K. so much why is she selling British style products and pleased that her DC use British expressions?
And don’t start me on the titles !

EsmaCannonball · 29/04/2025 09:54

The Norman Bates-ish mummy issues have long been obvious. It doesn't exactly speak to the health of the relationship.

Mylovelygreendress · 29/04/2025 09:56

Why on earth would you use HRH to friends ??

Yep. All my doctor colleagues insist I call them by their actual name rather than use Dr so and so. Some of them even insist their patients use the first name. Kind of like “just call me Harry”…until he wants to be referred to by his royal title 🤷🏼‍♀️

Make it make sense!

Solely for her own commercial gain. She will merch absolutely anything for $$$ and profile. She is shameless.

None of these people are friends - it's all transactional, scratching each others backs for $$$ and profile.

I dont think it does damage the RF.

They just need to continue to hold their nose and their nerve. The expression never wrestle with a pig comes to mind - as you will both get covered in shit but the pig loves it.

They should not be goaded to respond or engage by any provocative nonsense. They just need to turn their backs and continue to shine their light on significant initiatives of real need where their presence will be productive for the charitable cause and ignore the entrenched, bitter ramblings of a navel gazing z lister.

Any engagement postive or negative will be weaponised for H&M gain $$$$ and profile. Never hand these types the bullets to shoot you with.

grecian2025 · 29/04/2025 10:11

I wish the newspapers would stop featuring her (I know it's all about clicks and advertising and people are fascinated by her). We have no idea what she is actually like because nothing we see is how it actually is in real life. Everything is edited to give it a particular bias.

I feel sorry for her, and Harry. They may be difficult self absorbed people but they are also torn apart on a daily basis which is going to have some pretty serious knock on mental health affects. They are highly privileged and highly damaged people and I wouldn't want their life. Imagine being one of their kids? Awful.
