Looks like William took George and Charlotte to see Taylor Swift for his birthday. Looks like Taylor was just as happy to meet them as they were to meet her.

Oooh, I want thank yous! Can someone thank me for this?

You’re going to have to post a screenshot if you get more than 17, or you won’t win!

Meghan wishes! She sent Taylor a handwritten note asking her to be on Archetypes, Meghan got a response from Taylor’s assistant saying thanks but no thanks, the pictures today must burn.

That’s kind of weird really. I don’t think it would make me feel very good. I know Taylor sends out tons of correspondence to her her fans and I really think most of it is personal, not from some assistant.

I wonder why she would do that. Or I guess wouldn’t do that.

Yes we are still paying for him actually, how much has the tax payer had to fork out for his ridiculous court case so far? And he wants us to pay for his security on top of that, he owes this country a hell of a lot of money as wall as trying to drag it down globally, fortunately it’s not worked in the long run despite their best efforts.

Hmmm "their best efforts" I see where this is going. Good day.

If there are actually 17 other posters (which quite frankly, I don't believe)

Probably 'stalwarts'.

We know the ones who haven't name changed are lurking about.

It's a lovely photograph of a handsome family.

I see the Corbynistas are trying to de-rail the thread🙄It's a shame they don't understand British history and how we came to have this brilliant combination of parliamentary democracy and a royal family - best of both worlds.

Oi, I'm a 'corbynista'

Don't tar us all with the same brush! 😤😁

None of us know how ill she has been or how much his children have needed him to be around. And yes, I’m quite sure that they’ve got staff to help with the practical stuff, but ffs, if he’s got an opportunity to take some time off to support his wife and kids through a frightening time, then good for him for putting his loved ones first. And he’s not even ‘off’. He’s still got to smile and wave and accept that all these strangers will be staring at him and his kids.

And I think they are always working. Yes, they have lots of money and privilege. But unlike us, they don’t get to log off on a Friday afternoon and bugger off to Centre Parcs for the weekend. Or sit in a pub garden with their mates for a catch up in the sun. Their every move is stared at, scrutinised and debated. When was the last time your dress sense was debated in the daily mail? They can’t even talk to their children without someone hiring a lip reader to work out what they’re saying. If they go into the military, they’re criticised for increasing the risk to their unit. If they don’t, they’re cowards. If they get a ‘normal’ job, like a helicopter rescue pilot, they’re criticised for wanting privacy. If they spend their time shaking hands and cutting ribbons, they’re criticised for being detached from reality and having an easy time of it. They can’t go to the toilet without their security knowing where they are in case some sodding lunatic tries to hurt them or their children. And they can never respond to any criticism or snap and tell anyone to piss off. They have to constantly be smiling and happy to greet people and wave at them. You might think that’s a fair trade for their privilege but I don’t think many of us would last a month. And none of them have even had a choice in it. Their whole lives are mapped out for them the second they’re born.

So you might think he’s work-shy. I think him and his wife have done more for the future of the monarchy than anyone since the Queen and I’d love to see you try and do what they have to do.

Thank you for this @Whothefuckdoesthat could not agree more.

These are two young children whose mother and grandfather have cancer. How bitter do you have to be to resent them this experience?

PrettyFlyforaMaiTai · 22/06/2024 17:59

I mean I’ve got 15 so… 💅🏻🏆🤣

Bizarre isn't it? I often find that people who loathe the Royals and are so rude and nasty about them, are unhappy resentful people. Probably jealous of a neighbour or acquaintance who has just got a new car, because they don't feel they work hard enough for what they're got. Bitter, angry, resentful people who hate ANYone who has anything they don't. I pity them truth be told.

But your post is full of insults...

PrettyFlyforaMaiTai · 22/06/2024 18:00

What a lovely photo! So great to see the kids having such a nice time.

Piffle to the haters. Their bitterness just reveals their true characters.

I wonder if this indicates William is ready to crack on with some actual work. He has only done 9 engagements so far in June, according to the Court Circular, yet he has the time/energy/fitness to leverage his position as Prince of Wales to get prime tickets to an England football match and now Taylor Swift (so crowds clearly not an issue with Kates treatment and exposure risk). William is next in line to the throne, when will we demand more of him? It's time for him to step up, the King (who is battling cancer at 70+) is doing more than him. Wheeling his cute kids out for a photo op to make us forget his laziness is becoming wearing.

Clearly he's busy doing parenting here, just taking his kids to who they want to see. Or are you suggesting that Willie actually likes Taylor Swift? I guess the acid test will be whether or not he turns up at Greenday on Saturday by himself and gets hammered on overpriced lager.

RedYellowPinkGreenPurpleOrangeBlue · 22/06/2024 18:12

Yeah I do wonder if that poster can prove she has 17 'thanks.' I've got 171 on one of MY posts. AND I can prove it! Wink

I'm sooooooo popular. Grin

I wonder why Kate didn't go too, I'm sure out of the 88k there were plenty of people receiving treatment and she would have been in the box with William not amongst the crowds like the rest of us

She maybe wasn't up to it we have no idea where she is in her treatment and maybe just opted to stay at home.

'I'm not attacking children though am I?
I'm stating that they have an abundance of opportunity to do things no other children will be able to do, not because of their parents' talents, but because of who their parents are.'

So all the other children at Taylor Swift' s concerts are only there because of who their parents are - all the hundreds of thousands of them?

Their parents aren't sponging off the tax payer though.

The other parents are sponging off the tax payer though getting their kids free health care, child benefit and school education.
