I find that William is photogenic and this is one of the best photos (albeit not candid) of him in a while.

What do you see? For me, I see humour about his lips and the faraway look in his eyes has a touch of sadness. Overall, the Prince has gravitas, he does not need the red folder to signal that. There is also a reddish blush to his skin. Either he caught the sun during the D Day commemoration or he is blushing for some reason

He was so handsome when young. I'm afraid I don't find him handsome anymore. Not just physically either.

Hmm. I’m a natural republican. Just see a middle aged bloke looking out of a train window (probably worrying about his wife. Hope she’s doing ok, too).

Or a James Bond style phone with state of the art security capabilities - silver bullets/torpedos or a special agent hidden inside.

I can't think of another man in the public eye for whom losing his hair buggered up his looks in such a dramatic fashion. Some fellas can carry it off, but not him.

Are we sure it’s genuine? His head looks a bit too big for his neck, if you look closely. Might have been photoshopped onto some other bloke in a suit sitting on a train.

It’s a good picture, he does look quite thoughtful. You can see Prince Philip in his face there imo. Agree it’s a massive shame about his hair though.

He looks like your average NYC rush hour commuter his way home in one of the nice new LIRR trains. The faraway glint is him mentally running through his pantry supplies to decide on what to cook for dinner with the kids.

He's a prince, not a character in a trashy novel. If you have ever looked at the Bayeaux Tapestry, William the Conqueror was not a heart throb. Frederick II Hohenstaufen, known as the wonder of the world, was described as a small red-head. King Alfred suffered from migraines and depression and was also not an Adonis. Yet all these people had rich lives that changed the world. This may have been because they didn't spent their money on clothes and thought about something other than their appearance.

William is meeting his obligations to his family and his country. He's using his Duchy of Cornwall money to make a difference. That's the actions of a good heir to the throne. He hasn't thrown a fit, moved to another country, and started to undermine it's Constitution.

He also isn't ashamed to admit he's losing his hair. No photoshopping for his head. 😁
