I do think it's quite strange and so many rumours from the foreign press. For my part, since divorce is so common in the UK, I really wouldn't class it as 'awful'. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Kate posted on MN and related all the facts that the overwhelming advice wouldn't be to LTB. William sounds very unpleasant tbh.

Right. You see, you said that the photo was the proof. That divorce was "objectively plausible". Your argument rested on the photo.
If you have other evidence, perhaps more objective, could you share it?.

If it was a photo of her smiling broadly then you'd have a load of people claiming it obviously means she's definitely separated and delighting in her freedom. Which would be just as ludicrous as claiming one photo of her looking serious means divorce is definitely coming.

The point is purely that the photo does nothing to rebut the rumours of things not being happy/ impending divorce.

But that’s making the assumption that rumour is true, of course. Which it may very well not be. If it’s not,this photo tells you absolutely nothing.

They could have put her in the back and had tints but this is to prove she's alive

And actually I don't think they are taking them seriously - I think it's part of the campaign to try to bring down kate/william or the royal family in general which is being spun by in the main, people who call themselves the Sussex Squad.

They are reveling in the idea that something is wrong with Kate (and Charles)

They could have had her and William riding a bicycle made for two.

And if was something she is only doing because she was advised she needed to do, then there’s an obvious reason why they both have neutral expressions.

They’re likely pissed off to have been papped on the school run (the pic was apparently taken just after 9am) when there’s usually a good deal with the press not to take pics of things like that. She likely knows certain paps are not going to miss any chances over the next months and she’s going to be more papped than usual.

It does read like that, doesn't it? However, if you have proof beyond this photo, I'd be interested to hear it.

I get the feeling that her and W's relationship with the public may not be the same as it used to be going forward. Notwithstanding a no divorce, full recovery situation, which is what I would wish for anyone, i.e. that everything's A OK.

God love her. Multiple statements saying she was recovering in private weren't enough so she did the presumably arranged pap shot to prove she's alive and well. But then the chosen photo (of a woman quite possibly in pain and almost definitely thoroughly fed up with the whole saga) wasn't jolly enough so now it's clear proof her marriage is in trouble.

I'm very much not a royalist and find the whole circus quite entertaining in general but the last few weeks have only made me more and more sympathetic towards the humans at the centre of the whole shit show.

Just to stir things up ahem.... was William otherwise "engaged" today? If not, why didn't he accompany his wife on the school run, or just do it by himself. That's what he said he was taking time off for!

Of course not but this stuff is outrageous made up stuff and misogynistic vitriol that's organised into campaigns to trend on twitter - it's not just the royal family it happens to - there are loads of celebrity 'camps' where this happens to individuals.

And then you see it being brought to non-Twitter platforms as 'facts' or credible rumours when it's malicious stories deliberately made up to create the most damage possible.
