I see H and M have had a break this weekend away in the Caribbean. It's such an odd photo though - the place is deserted apart from them but then most of Canouan is a man made resort. St Vincent was always the poor island of the Caribbean. I thought they might have steered away from a development such as this where there are controversies over the rights of locals to access beaches. It is a problem that many Caribbean islands have faced over the years though - whether to develop for the benefit of some local wages but with most of the money going to large international companies. Having lived and worked in several of them I realise the complexities involved.

I saw that photo, I initially thought it was photoshopped as so much about it is really weird, not withstanding that a passer by is supposed to have taken it, when the place is deserted and not even their security are in the frame.

It did make me laugh at the idea of the Daily Mail possibly having paid for a photoshopped image of them.

Maybe they went there because it is quiet? Just a thought

Lucky for them that Backgrid were at Atlanta to see them leaving their private jet .

Backgrid are a photo agency, they buy photos from paps, they were not there, paparazzi were. Theres photos of Kate with back grid across them too you know. It might be news to people but paps follow tips and a photo of Meghan and Harry is worth a lot of money so yes, they photograph them.

Even though it looks bad that they have taken yet another private flight ?

I don't understand why you've posted that in response, it doesn't have anything to do what I have written. What is the issue with them having a weekend without their children? Was it you that criticised Meghan spending 8 days away from her kids before too?

Was it you that criticised them for not having the children there at Invictus? When the cameras of the world would've been on them and posters would still be talking about it on MN now?

Do you think parents aren't allowed a weekend break from their children?

I think it's great they managed to have a few days away. All parents should do it if they could.

I do think they leave their DC behind a lot but that’s just my opinion .
Anyway , much as I would like to continue being piled on (!) I have a flight to catch . Sadly not a private jet to the Caribbean but a Ryanair flight to Spain !

Oh and I don’t just criticise Meghan for leaving their DC so much . I criticise Harry too.

Meghan and Harry continue with their terrible bad luck I see. A passerby at an exclusive, deserted, resort island happens to catch a photo of them that they somehow know how to immediately sell to the newspapers and then they also get papped at a stopover in Atlanta, literally hundreds and hundreds of miles from both their home and where they’d been staying. So unlucky.

You always ask for sources from other posters a lot. Could you provide a source to prove that no one was on this island and it is completely deserted?

Plenty of celebrities get papped, and complain about it, why is everyone so surprised and acts like it must be set up when it happens to this couple, who photographers get the most money for!?

I think all parents should have private time if they have the wherewithal and family support to do so. It was only a weekend after all.

This will be done to death on these threads for weeks. And I will keep mentioning W&K taking helicopters like we take a bus!

And what is wrong with that? Do you criticise W&K when they go to an exclusive private resort in the Caribbean which they have done more than once?

I have no idea what the problem is with this.

The problem is they're happy and not destitute which is what some people want.

I hope they had a great weekend. They seem like devoted parents and all couples should have time alone together.
