Meghan, Duchess of Sussex spotted out and about, part 2

Part 2 of a nice, unproblematic thread to discuss some of the fab outfits from the Duchess of Sussex, and some of the many great causes she (and Harry) and Archewell supports.

It's dawned on me - it's the Meghan Fox look.

Well the gossip on Reddit is that Meghan has been in Jamaica for the past week, and Harry joined her.

Pics or it didn't happen is my motto, so I'm taking that rumour as just unsubstantiated gossip with no basis in fact.

Thought one of the DC was ill and that’s why M couldn’t attend the “ award” ceremony?

I much preferred her face at her wedding. She now looks like a Kardashian. Such a shame.

What struck me as sad is how they've been used by the Jamaican government. They're so naive in the area of Caribbean politics. Family who've lived there were shocked that their advisors didn't advise them to decline the invitation

King Charles has been very clear he has no issues if any countries wish to become independent and he will no longer be their Head of State - as the President of Jamaica has stated.

Jamaica though as a country has no intenrion of leaving the Commonwealth. They would simply join the majority of countries in the Commonwealth who are independent nations as a member State and continue to benefit from the trade agreements.

This is just googled but some countries do wish to rejoin the commonwealth. My son is a lawyer an dsome countries say " why shouldn't we ? " we can rule ourselves but take advantage of English Law. Happy to be disagreed with.

The Commonwealth of Nations is a trading bloc. Maybe that’s why countries who reject a British Monarch as HoS decide to stay in the Commonwealth?

There is a video doing the rounds of them taking their seats at the screening, it looks like there wasn't any preferential seating and neither of them look very happy about it.

I just saw that . They are seated several rows from the front which they won’t be used to . Meghan looks very overdressed as many of the people around her are casually attired .

I thought exactly the same about her looking so overdressed when you see her in the midst of the audience. The audience seemed to be really nonchalant and disinterested in their arrival too.

While the front of a cinema is not the best place to sit, it really looked like there was no special arrangements made for them, the woman in the same row as them barely glanced in their direction.

Certainly not a glamorous world premiere, but maybe that was the vibe the organisers were going for, which would explain Harry dressed so casually.

I’ve seen video of Harry and Meghan being ushered to their reserved seats and sitting down. Honoured and celebrity guests are normally last to be seated at a premiere and will be seated in the theatre with everyone else but in reserved seats in the middle of the theatre near the front as you see with H&M. This is fairly standard. Neither Meghan nor Harry look upset - it’s becoming so tedious watching people take stills of people in motion and extrapolate their expressions of concentration or simply neutral face as anger, disappointment or sadness.

Meghan is formally dressed as are other notable guests on the red carpet. You can see that the other guests are dressed up too in the pictures below. Not everyone at a premiere will dress up - it is after all a movie screening and crew, prize winners and journalists will attend on various levels of dress - but the celebrities/politicians/famous people will definitely dress up.

There is a woman at the premiere with a full diamond choker top and cuffs but Meghan is the one who apparently is overdressed.

Some people are just so desperate for Harry and Meghan to be miserable and bitter it's killing them. It's so sad
