Oo what's Camilla wearing on her chest?!

Charles looks very pale these days, I think - or it could be make up to cover his general ruddiness. It seems very noticeable, he looks quite different.

One of Queen Mary’s old stomachers, I bet! Lovely to see Kate’s Jordanian wedding evening dress get a re-wear, it’s lovely.

My burning question - has Charles given up on the knee-breaches? He used to wear them to this event while his mother was alive…

Is that he’s King does he finally get to wear the long trousers?

Does anyone know which tiaras are out tonight? Is that an old favourite of Catherine’s?

They used to wear knee breaches for the most formal evening events still - here’s a picture of the three senior Windsor men in them. William ditched them at this event last year (clearly, he’s not a fan!) and so I wondered if Charles is persisting…

William is thinking “I look like a dork” in that photo. Ahh, the modern changes are a-happening.

He looks like he has lost weight I think.

I think he’s aged massively in the past few years. Since HM died particularly. He looks older than he is, and yes he does look much paler.

I love Kate's look this evening, but this red gown is one of my favourites she's ever worn and I need her to repeat it.

She looks fabulous in the suit and the dress but all I ever wonder is how she manages in those heels all the time.

Bit clearly not, as when googling for pix I found one of ER II wearing the Garter sash with a sleeveless dress

The all look very regal, does anyone happen to know why Catherine’s sash is worn on the opposite shoulder to the others? Google isn’t being particularly helpful unfortunately

It’s just because it’s a different order from the others so that’ll be the rule for that particular order.

None of the Windsor family (including Meghan & Harry) are having a particularly great time of it at present so it’s nice to see them all out and about together and scrubbing up well 🤩

They all have different rules so they’ll have very carefully made sure she had it right - it must be a brief moment of doubt though when everyone else’s goes the other way!

She must have wished she had a left shoulder sash so that the family order didn’t have to just go through the dress. She’ll be hoping to have a right shouldered sash for next year when she’ll very likely have the weight of two family orders!
