Just a nice, unproblematic thread to discuss some of the Princess of Wales' fab outfits and some of the many great causes she supports.

I absolutely love this green suit, which she wore on Tuesday in Leeds

Princess Kate's affordable chunky gold necklace is the ultimate cool-girl accessory

The Princess of Wales rocked a piece by New York-based jewellery label Laura Lombardi that's perfect for for everyday

I think it's a cardigan and my 7-year-old would love it. I'm not such a fan, despite being very dedicated to the Wearing of Cardigans.

MrsFinkelstein · 23/12/2023 20:28

I love the colour on her.

queentim · 23/12/2023 21:25

oh my Kate. It's dreadful honestly

TheKnittedCharacter · 24/12/2023 03:56

That is one hideous cardigan Kate is sporting there 😂

Lifestooshort71 · 24/12/2023 07:18

I love it for the occasion - very festive. Wouldn't wear it myself mind you.

Ohpleeeease · 24/12/2023 07:24

Top marks for festive, you can’t mistake the season. Catherine does put thought into the theme of her outfits, more so than the styling I suggest.

EmpressSisi · 24/12/2023 10:50

Someone in the style thread said she should have paired it with something edgier, such as leather trousers. I’m inclined to agree. It looks a little twee with the red trousers. But she does love literally dressing so I can let her have a pass considering it’s Christmas 🤣

TheKnittedCharacter · 24/12/2023 10:54

Kate certainly does love literal dressing. 🥴

Bet she loves costume parties.

MrsLeonFarrell · 24/12/2023 12:02

I'm not a fan of the cardigan but I can it's a good compromise between finding something christmassy whilst avoiding an actual Christmas jumper.

I quite like her literal dressing, I wonder if it's a type of protective camouflage which clearly signals that she is on duty.

myrtleWilson · 24/12/2023 13:00

I like to imagine Kate pulling this Xmas jumper out of the wardrobe, turning to her assistant and saying "This year, yes?" assistant sadly shakes her head and hands over the red cardigan....

🤣🤣🤣 that would be epic if true!!!

pilates · 24/12/2023 16:18

I like it too, I think it shows she’s thinking about the people and causes she’s visiting, and not just how she looks on the day.

I saw this cute video on Tiktok from the Carol service.

Louis & Wolfie have bonded.

I wonder if that's why Beatrice seems to have grown closer with W&C - with children the same age who get along you naturally grow closer.

Zara's little girl was walking with Princess Charlotte at the Christmas walk to church this morning too - it's lovely to see them with their cousins

FluffyCatBonzo · 25/12/2023 18:50

Louis in his pea coat and tartan trousers - lovely and yes lovely to see him with the rest of the family.

pilates · 27/12/2023 06:48

Catherine looked lovely in the blue on Christmas Day

FluffyCatBonzo · 27/12/2023 09:23

I agree -she stood out from all the rest of the gloom!

ThePoshUns · 27/12/2023 11:11

I liked Camilla's coat with the blanket stitch edging

upinaballoon · 27/12/2023 19:11

May I just pop back to the red cardigan with the white bits on. Surely she wore it last year as well.

Yes she did. Iirc it was in the promo bit for last year's carol service.

Thanks. I'm still wearing my grey jumper this year - the one with the sequins which have gone in all directions, and it pills up a lot because it's very common acrylic.😄

My Christmas jumper references Die Hard, can't see Catherine wearing it!

After weeks and months of absolute bonkers news and conspiracies it was actually really nice to read this article about Catherine’s early years work project yielding positive preliminary results.

”The Princess of Wales learnt about the ADBB during a trip to Denmark in 2022.
She funded the trial through the Centre for Early Childhood, the first time she has financially supported early years work.
The results have been evaluated by researchers at the University of Oxford…The results are overwhelmingly positive," Jane Barlow, a professor of evidence-based intervention and policy evaluation at the university, said "I think it's really enhancing the existing tools that health visitors have got and enables them to bring the baby back to the centre of everything,"

'Overwhelmingly' positive results for trial funded by Princess of Wales as part of early years work

The preliminary results are positive news for the princess, Sky News' Laura Bundock, writes. When she does return to duties, the early years project is likely to be a priority.
