Just a nice, unproblematic thread to discuss some of the Princess of Wales' fab outfits and some of the many great causes she supports.

I absolutely love this green suit, which she wore on Tuesday in Leeds

Princess Kate's affordable chunky gold necklace is the ultimate cool-girl accessory

The Princess of Wales rocked a piece by New York-based jewellery label Laura Lombardi that's perfect for for everyday

That’s really good to read ( although waiting for the critics to poo poo it).
Something else which was nice to read ; Catherine put £2000 behind the bar for the Irish Guards as she was unable to attend their event.

It would barely have touched the size of the actual bar bill! Grin Shamrock

Thanks @PrettyFlyforaMaiTai and @Mylovelygreendress for those positive stories about Catherine. It's a shame both will be overshadowed by all the nasty stuff being written about her.

I was waiting for someone to come along and say “ is that all ?” Or that she was encouraging alcohol consumption!!

Give it time...

Do you think she can pop 2k behind my local, I’ve had a shite few months! 😆 But the article is a lovely thing to read so thanks for posting it!

I genuinely feel sorry for every woman who has ever joined the RF, they have all taken a battering from the media, every single one of them so it’s actually great to see a turning point and something positive. I’ve always felt sorry for Diana, Sarah, Camilla, Kate & Meghan, none of them have deserved any of the crap thrown at them. no woman is perfect but the amount of venom thrown at them is verging on harassment.

I hope Kates project goes from strength to strength 😀👍

I think it's a cardigan and my 7-year-old would love it. I'm not such a fan, despite being very dedicated to the Wearing of Cardigans.

I agree, and I think you've hit the nail on the head - I'm sure she wore it because it's jolly, bright and a bit naff and would appeal to children. I was briefly a primary school teacher and I know I chose clothes sometimes which I thought they'd like - and that's one of the reasons I left that profession!!! 😀

Edgy leather trousers, charcoal grey chic or minimalist stuff would not impress children.

(And what a blessed relief this thread is - full of sensible, civilised people of goodwill...I'm a refugee from some of the crazy and malicious ones elsewhere!)

It's a sign of someone who really loves kids - to dress in something that puts them at ease and grabs their attention.

Didn't like that Xmas top especially with the red trousers. Sometimes she can look cool and edgy but alot of times it's very boring.

Maybe that is because you are not a pre- schooler 😆
Also maybe things she wears appear boring because she sometimes dresses “literally” for the occasion she is attending, or doesn’t want to overshadow her host

I think you can dress in a way that isn't boring without overshadowing other people. And also if you choose to dress literal then it's going to be boring as there isn't much scope to choose something different enough. And there are quite a lot of different things she could of worn for pre schoolers, I just don't think that top is nice.

She has wron things I have liked but it's not that often cos she clearly sticks to dressy literal as you say and other times it's just boring coat dresses.

I think it's perfectly okay to say something isn't nice.
