The guy making the sarky "joke" didn't say "obviously that's not going to happen".
It was the guy sat next to him who said that.

Nothing sarky about this. When you start to joke about innocent children being put into situations that endanger their lives ie dangling them off a balcony, it leads the dehumanisation.

Eamonn Holmes made a similar joke about pushing Harry and Meghan over the balcony during the Jubilee.

It's the same reason Jeremy Clarkson felt comfortable enough to write about stripping Meghan naked and throwing excrement at here. When abuse and mockery is accepted people push boundaries.

There are some pretty disgusting people around, mocking a child is low very low but those that mock are just showing how dreadful they are.

To me... in the clip... they were just taking the piss out of Archie, his birthday, him being possibly on the balcony. Very bad taste. And mean. Why should a little boy be subjected to what his parents are subjected to?

Yes, the entire thing was quite ugly and mocking. They would never speak about another royal child in that way.

This would never be allowed for w&k children. These peolle aren't conedians at some gig where you would expect some comedians to push the line. These are reporters or what not, totally uncalled for and really disgusting.

I really hope Harry and Meghan stay away. If this is the kind of joke that many see as acceptable about their child, god knows what violent things people will say if they do come to the Coronation.

That is tasteless, unnecessary and out of order, nothing funny about it at all.

It was never said seriously. He was probably comparing Meghan's surgery face and voice to MJs. It is making fun of the parents not the kids.

Threatening harm to a child may be a joke, that does not make it okay. Yes I believe you the joke was made because of who his parents are.
