Anyone else think it's telling Meghan only had Doria at the wedding? No other family member!
None of her exes were there, Harry invited Chelsea & Cressida & both attended.
Before Harry Meghan & her stylist & bff Jessica Mulroany were inseparable, now they don't talk. Coincidently Jessica was part of the top echelons of Canadian society so did Meghan no longer need her friendship when she married the Prince of England?

She invited who she wanted there. Why critisise her guest list? Bit weird.

Her dad sold stories about her and she was told not to invite Niece. Step-sister also sold stories and Niece agrees is not very nice and was never close to Megan.

Don't know about Jessica Mulroany but she had several close friends at baby shower and at wedding.

I think most people and fallen out with or lost touch with at least one formerly close friend.

I have very difficult relationships with my family, and have had 3 long term friendships end in the past few years. All very painful, all very complex. It would be very easy to hear that and decide that I'm a big fat drama queen, or a troublemaker or whatever, but it's simply not true

Most people don't invite their exes to a wedding. It's more interesting that Harry did. It was very nice of him.

Well if she didn’t constantly court the limelight with her Netflix, Oprah interview etc etc and try to divide the Monarchy by portraying herself and Harry as ‘victims’, whilst continually contradicting themselves, then maybe she wouldn’t be the topic of conversation.
It’s not difficult to understand why she and H are the subject of ‘gossip’ as you put it. They have bought everything on themselves.

i had a tiny registry office wedding abroad (we wanted to do it in our own terms and not a spectacle for the masses 😉). I had 2 friends present, my ex-husband had none… Oprah didn’t even rsvp. 🤬

I suppose the return favour for all the photo OP'S that the Clooney's thrive on was the private cross Atlantic flight and baby shower.

I think the lack of family being invited was a huge red flag that the Royals possibly didn't pay enough attention to. I did read somewhere that Kate couldn't understand it and it may be why she and William were not eager to become "the family she never had". It's extraordinary that M and Harry didn't make the effort to meet with Thomas even before the engagement but certainly before the wedding. The only logical explanation is that M was suddenly ashamed of the father she had previously adored and didn't want to introduce him.
The Royals should have trumped that by inviting him over for a weekend soon after the engagement.

I think it spoke volumes about her.

Of course it’s telling whatever the H&M bots say. It is not normal to have zero family at your wedding beyond your mother - if it’s a very large wedding and you do have family that you could invite. It’s very revealing that she has so few friends outside of the cast of Suits and the handful of celebs she met and invited in the months before the wedding.

I don’t think it’s fair to pick on Meghan, harry also has no friends really now and his family relationships are shattered. They have both lost a lot. Which is incredibly sad. They also keep firing their staff and seem to struggle hard with interpersonal relationships. Only doria is there really and it’s clear she just keeps her mouth shut, speaks when told, and follows rhe narrative.

on the niece, it seems the palace didn’t tell Meghan to disinvite her, the palace didn’t give a crap, it was Meghan who chose that, and then blamed the palace so she could bring her back in for the docu series.

For me at least if I knew my husband was inviting his exes the way Harry invited Chelsea & Cressida, I would invite mine. Didn't she say she was still on fabulous terms with her ex husband & also the chef she dumped for Harry?
Chelsea & Cressida must have been thanking their lucky stars at the wedding...what a lucky escape they had!
