Anyone else think it's telling Meghan only had Doria at the wedding? No other family member!
None of her exes were there, Harry invited Chelsea & Cressida & both attended.
Before Harry Meghan & her stylist & bff Jessica Mulroany were inseparable, now they don't talk. Coincidently Jessica was part of the top echelons of Canadian society so did Meghan no longer need her friendship when she married the Prince of England?

I don’t think I would cut him off for ever more, what about it was hurtful to her, I just don’t understand her reaction to it, it might have been mildly embarrassing at most, but hardly the crime of the century and he didn’t even speak to the press at that point, never mind say anything about her.

To be honest, it isn't something I'd cut my father off for if I were her, judging by the great relationship she said they had.

I'd be disappointed, betrayed, etc but we'll have a serious talk about standing by his daughter and not selling her out, and then move on. Unless he carries on after making a promise not to, then I wouldn't be able to trust him.

But to be fair, the apple doesn't seem to fall far from the tree because her dad seems to need to publicly share his own truth about what's happened between them and Meghan also needs to publicly share her own truth about what's happened between her and her family and the members of the RF.

There is no actual evidence anywhere that he had a heart attack, indeed when he was supposed to be in hospital he was spotted wandering around a mall eating takeaway food.

She was famous BECAUSE she was about to get married. Hardly anyone had heard of her, and those who did watched Suits. She's not a Hollywood A lister. More of a parallel with the likes of Natalie Cassidy and Charity Dingle.

He himself never said he had a heart attack. And people have come out of the woodwork, he was photographed on a day he was supposed to be in the hospital. That he supposedly had a heart attack has never been confirmed by anyone, not him, not even a hospital.

Not all of us have loads of family, I'm the same age roughly Meghan was when she got married and there wouldn't be hardly any family there from my side except my mother either as they are mostly all dead! She's an only child with a difficult relationship with her dad. I do think she's "difficult" (to say the least) but I wouldn't judge her on lack of family/friends at her wedding.

The consensus is generally that if a member of your family is toxic you go NC or very LC, even if that family member is a parent.
This man betrayed his own child on a number of occasions . Selling his story for money and castigating his daughter and her husband at every given opportunity.
I absolutely believe her when she says that she tried to call her father on several occasions. I really do believe that she wanted her father to walk her down the aisle.
I can’t believe that anyone can condone or excuse her father’s ‘ behaviour.
Meghan is expected to put up with all the crap thrown at her because her detractors dislike her. Her father paid for her education, so she is supposed to put up with abuse and lies

I actually pity her father, he is so going to regret his actions. He has lost his daughter because of his selfishness, greed and insecurity.
My prediction is that he will eventually turn against those who encouraged him to betray his own child.

People forget the Meghan was not estranged from anyone until the wedding.

She had not seen her much older siblings in years, but thay happens when there is an age difference like that. My own sister is 10 years younger and we see each other at holidays only.

SM was 17 when MM was born and they didn't live in the same house so it's not surprising they weren't close. Not to mention S has been estranged from all her kids and apparently her own mother for years. I'm not sure I'd want contact with her either.

She can’t have been very close to her dad to be marrying someone that he’d never met.

They don’t have the time/money constraints that normal people have, so there’s no excuse
for Harry never having met her dad, unless it’s just that they didn’t care because they weren’t particularly close.
