None of her exes were there, Harry invited Chelsea & Cressida & both attended.

Most people don't invite exes to their wedding. A lot of royals seem to because often their exes are all part of the same aristocratic social set.

As for her family, well, I have a small family. I wouldn't be able to invite loads of relatives to my wedding because I don't have loads. That's not a reflection on me as a person.... having a big family does not make you morally superior.

The only "telling" thing is the "well documented" need of some people to keep finding some new viscious comments to make about people that they don't know. Unless Meghan has always stated that she's still in contact with her childhood friends and college friends, then it isn't unusual to not have maintained contact with them. It isn't necessarily due to anything sinister. Many people are the same and they have their valid reasons.

However, if you're saying that she deliberately ignored her usual friends so that she can focus on celebrity friends, then it seems possible based on some of her actions and what a few people who knew her said [If it's true].

Perhaps ... but what's more disturbing is why people are so invested in her. I don't like them either, but time and energy some people put into thinking about a couple that they don't even like is what is really disturbing. It's starting to verge on hysteria.

I'm guessing they were bored after the pandemic ended and there were no more anti-vaxxer threads to froth over or now we have the mega-successful Brexit, no more we won, get over it threads to start.

I think it spoke volumes - some people can't build close, enduring relationships. Which is not a good sign if you're hoping to build a close, enduring relationship with them...say, a marriage.

I also think MM was a bit snobby - inviting A listers she'd never met and having Prince Charles walk her down the aisle rather than her own mother, so it wouldn't surprise me if whatever family she is in touch with weren't invited as they didn't fit the right image.
