The royal family

Are the Royal Family releasing info from SPARE to cover up Diana accusations?

This is an extraordinary article that presents new information outlining why Princess Diana's death was not the accident it first appeared. Ordinarily this would be front page news and everyone would be talking about it. Instead people are talking about if Meghan used the term baby brain to Kate, or if William and Harry did not want Charles and Camilla to marry.

These latter allegations are just meaningless distractions. The kind of thing that happens in every family. But the allegation that a car accident for Diana was planned is a serious allegation. And the only people who benefit from burying this story are the Royal Family.

So I think the Royal Family have arranged for an advance copy of SPARE to be leaked so extracts can be leaked every hour, thus burying the story about Diana's death.

I think the allegations around Diana's death are probably true.

"Extraordinarily, since the Princess's death, I have been told by a well-placed source in our foreign intelligence service, MI6, that this is not far from the truth of what really happened.
The astonishing claim is that a 'Paris operation' was organised to frighten the Princess into halting her romance because her lover was considered by the British Establishment to be an unsuitable companion for the mother of a future King.
'We planned to break her arm or cause a minor injury,' said my MI6 informant, now retired and living in Europe. 'No one in the security services overseeing this operation wanted Diana to be killed. Dodi? Well, he was another matter.'""

Yes because MI6 always release things like that , its not credible at all

NowDoYouBelieveMe · 05/01/2023 15:50

Diana did write a letter before her death claiming that people were out to kill her.

Even without that, just knowing what secret services are there for, it's quite plausible.

Sweetpeasaremadeforbees · 05/01/2023 15:51

So you think that the RF are releasing snippets from 'Spare'?!

Okaaay (backs away slowly).

There may have been threats (most high profile people are at risk in that way), but it was a drunken chauffeur who did it.

I dont think the royal family went to Spain arranged an accidental early release and found translaters for the newspapers

Theunamedcat · 05/01/2023 15:55

Her death was preventable had she wore her seatbelt she would be here today

JackieDaws · 05/01/2023 15:56

🤪🤪🤪🤪

Oh ffs 🙄

Dreamstate · 05/01/2023 15:57

I would say its more to distract from the recent headlines about the NHS and Rishi's announcements yday.

Volkswagenitalia · 05/01/2023 15:58

What a load of bollocks.

Volkswagenitalia · 05/01/2023 15:59

I actually thought this morning that it was Harry's camp who had leaked the first tidbit from Spare about being physically attacked. But I don't think they would leak this much, the best bits of the book will be common knowledge by tonight!

I agree. But the allegation was that there was a plan to create a crash, but NOT to kill Diana. If Diana had worn a seatbelt that is what would have happened.

It’s two newspapers thrashing it out with rival titbits ( daily mail v Guardian) and then every other news source rehashing it.
the royal family would rather none of it came out!

BradfordGirl · 05/01/2023 16:02

@Dreamstate Perhaps you are right.

I agree with @Volkswagenitalia that all of these leaks have not come from Harry. He would have leaked one titbit, not lots of the book.

Spare accidentally appeared in some shops in Spain. The tabloids have got a hold of a copy and are furiously translating. if Diana is a chapter as the DM suggests then it will be discussed again.

BlackFriday · 05/01/2023 16:03

Of course not! Don't be ridiculous.

BradfordGirl · 05/01/2023 16:04

@PeekAtYou I simply do not believe that a book is accidentally sold by a major publishing house.

I thought MN didn’t believe a word printed in the Daily Mail ?

Theunamedcat · 05/01/2023 16:06

It's already in the shop waiting to go out on the shelf they just put it out too early that's all

Do you really believe that??

More like the Telegraph were sent a copy.

myrtleWilson · 05/01/2023 16:09

Distribution takes time - there was a report about the Guardian scooper - Martin P who has a track record of scooping on embargoed books. According to the article I read his scoops consistently come out within the week before publication which would suggest he has developed relationships with particular bookstores which would receive books about 7 days before release.

Similarly, Hugo Rifkind tweeted earlier about an Amazon cock up on pre-order dates which led to early release of explosive political tome.

so errors happen and journalists can also develop contacts to put them in a position to scoop

PeekAtYou · 05/01/2023 16:10

Ah, you don't believe the Spain thing ?
If someone is going to "benefit" it will be the 2 interviewers because people will want to know if they are stories discussed at the weekend.
Another benefit will be the publisher because the stories are "juicier" than anything mentioned on NF.

PeekAtYou · 05/01/2023 16:10

DM now have a copy

Sweetpeasaremadeforbees · 05/01/2023 16:11

Exactly. Do people really believe when a book is to be 'published' on a certain day that it will miraculously be printed, bound and sent out to all the shops on that one day?

That idea is about as credible as the Prince Philip and MI6 planning her death.

Some people just love conspiracy theories.
