That's what I initially thought.

What I wondered though is was he in the habit of putting his arm around girls to have a photo taken with them?

If he didn't really know her & Ghislaine said that Virginia-an employee-wanted a photo with him-wouldn't he have just stood next to her?

It's in a private house-Ghsilaine's(?) & suggests some level of friendship?

I'm not explaining well!

diddl, who knows, I thought they said she wanted the photo taken to give to her mum, its a weird photo and maybe they should ask GM about it, when and where it was taken and who took it.

Well yes it's all speculation.

I just can't see the need for the arm round the waist if it's a photo just to record meeting someone famous?

I dislike Andrew and think he is a sleazy creep.

But I do wonder about the photo. He is facing in to VG's side, and you can see his arm in the gap between them (or at least, blue shirt) at slightly higher than waist level. She must have been very skinny for the bottom half of his arm to go round her back, allowing him to visibly hold her waist.

She has her arm around him. Speaking for myself, if a woman puts her arm around me for a photo, I will put my arm around her. Not doing so would be uncomfortable and would look odd. This photo doesn't tell us who put their arm round the other first. So no, I don't think it is evidence of friendship. It is evidence that they had their photo taken together and possibly of the location where that happened. It doesn't prove anything else.

If you measure the photo, you will find that the apparent length of the bottom half of his left arm is consistent with the length of his right arm.

I tend to the view that the photo is real. If it is fake, it is expertly done. There are none of the usual signs of a fake photo.

Is it date and time stamped or did that not exist then.

She is slim but it's quite easy for someone to do this. I'm in the white t shirt and a size 12

@Vapeyvapevape In all fairness I wasn't being very scientific about it! But you're standing more side by side with the other person, whereas Andrew is standing side on, and you can see his shirt arm in the gap between them at a low level (so not stretching straight round VG). To me, this makes the bottom half of his arm which goes round her waist as she is standing facing forward quite long.

I think I'm overthinking this!!!

IIRC it's said to have been taken by JE but as unless there's something in it for her I think it's unlikely GM would spill her guts on it even if asked.

Let's not forget she's already withdrawn her opposition to the unsealing of documents relating to eight 'John Does' presumably for much the same reason.

Fair enough!

Andrew reported as being due to be deposed by VG's lawyers at a 'neutral' location in London on March 10th.

When does VQ give her statement, before of after him, whats a neutral location?

Reports say that, despite repeated requests, she hasn't committed to a date or location.

My guess is that neutral means not the Embassy and not a palace.

If they are putting so much significance on this photo why wont they let PA lawyers have the original to scrutinise it themselves

I'm not sure she has the original. The version shown in her complaint is the cropped version that has been widely published, not the full photo.

I thought she gave it to her mum or the fbi

According to VG's memoir the photo was taken at GM's townhouse by JE at the request of VG on the night her and PA went to Tramps.
