Can anyone really think that MM will set foot anywhere near the RF again ? I fully expect H to be present for the unveiling of his mother’s statue but that’s about it .
HM would not want anything to detract from Trooping of The Colour so H and M won’t be there.

Of course she will if she gets the opportunity. The question is whether she will be permitted to or not.

I thought she'd pull out of that last engagement in the UK. But no there she was as bold as brass and her grin wider than ever. She's got the reins. For now.

@ JaJaDingDong sorry but I disagree , I think she is incredibly thin skinned . I have read FF ( dire) and it really came over how easily MM took offence ( Catherine not offering a lift ) .

I see where @JaJaDingDong is coming from though. When H and M arrived at Westminster Abbey, a lip reader said that she said 'ok big smiles'. She brass necked it out. (Remember her pushing through the chairs at the end?) I can imagine her doing that at ToC. Yet she is incredibly thin skinned on a personal level. It's weird.

Thin skinned enough to feel sorry for herself. But too thick skinned to see anyone else's point of view but her own.

Meghan needs to come back and have contact with the Royal Family. She needs content for the next book.
I can imagine it will be extremely difficult for the family to have a natural and open relationship with H&M , they will be measuring every word and gesture.

I think people can be thin skinned in terms of how they perceive any criticism or talk about them, but completely oblivious in their realisation of how others think of and see them (or else they aren’t oblivious but think those people are completely wrong and don’t understand them).

They’re definitely putting out the feelers. With their speech bigging up the common wealth and grandmother thing, and now this. It’s a bit too little, too late. I’m sure they are still pursuing the half in, half out model which is what they always wanted. All the privileges and cherry picked events, none of the run of the mill work behind the scenes. After all, they are the self-declared mega watt power couple, their very presence should be more than sufficient 😂

In June his grandfather, assuming he stays well, will he 100. So no mention of visits to family or for the charities he has left behind in the U.K., but he wants to watch the rugby live.

If he was talking to the Rugby Football League, would he really be talking about seeing his grandfather to them? It's all about the rugby.

Well they both mix professional and personal lives so a small mention wouldn’t go amiss.

I suppose he does say that he would have been back if it weren’t for Covid, presumably to visit family etc

Forgive me if I'm repeating something further up the thread, but WRT the Gloria Steinem interview... why would Steiner do it? What's in it for her? Meghan is trying to 'establish' herself in this market to build their career/business, but why would Steinem agree to this interview? Presumably doesn't need the money (and doesn't strike me as someone who does 'stuff' for fashion/society magazines for money. The privilege of meeting H&M? Unlikely.

I don't see any desire for Archie to be with his cousins. Meghan has walked away from almost all family on both sides. Extended family is clearly not of value to her.

I can’t see any way that Meghan can take part in RF events in the future. Not after that awful book filled with snide comments or the endless leaks from ‘friends’. She’s a total liability.

they should be happy there in their multi million dollars home. why they are seeking to come to UK? maybe they want more;
they dont want to lose whatever left in UK for them.

how will MM look at the faces of RF I dont know. I think she will, she is thick skinned and she will have wider grin on her face this time.
also, Archie will come, too. because in their mind nobody must forget he is a royal, too.

also, MM will wear some high couture dresses and make up artist from NY again.

KatherineParr4 we must not forget that Meghan and Harry had no input into the book. But it's difficult to see how Scobie and other author knew what happened when only Meghan and Harry were present. Or just even Meghan and the Queen. Or did a friend spill the beans without permission like what happened with lettergate.
