His money raising efforts are not doing well. Not surprised.

No idea who is is but have read it from time to time. It seemed to be more satirical early on but got far more biting recently. Mind you, a lot of their coverage seems to have become more critical, especially after Funding Freedom.

I've just seen Omid Scobie on Twitter quoting how The Queen has encouraged people to vote in the past.

He really does seem to now be the mouthpiece for Meghan, saying pretty much anything she wishes him to.

But how dare he compare The Queen and Meghan Markle? That seems to be gloves off to me.

Why would a Royal Reporter go out on a limb like that and alienate a huge portion of the market he is supposed to be reporting on. What a mess.

At a time with lots of speculation about The Queen not returning to BP, not being very well etc. Awful timing. Awful slur. He has certainly burnt many bridges.

Assume everything he says is coming straight out of Meghans mouth. Clearly she is using him to spout what she herself wants to but is scared to.

HMQ has always remained (publicly anyway) neutral to the different political parties. There is a big difference in telling people to vote, than there is to publicly state your views on a political leader and opposition party (or political family) and indirectly making it clear what your political views are.

I agree. It is really problematic. As it happens I agree with her choice. But what if she were using her position to support Trump? This sort of thing works both ways, clearly.

Meghan knows that Royals don't get involved in politics or make known their political preferences. And yet she does just that.

Imagine if Meghan was supporting Trump or Kanye West !!!!

I think the fact she is billed as the Duchess of Sussex whilst making such a statement is at odds with that because she is using her title that she has purely through the RF.

The one year review is going to be interesting. The RF are going to have to take some strong measures to protect themselves. In the future things are going to get more and more murky going by current events.
I suspect the titles will have to be withdrawn and a clear line drawn between what is personal behaviour from M and H and what is related to their place in the family. I suspect M will be persona non grata going forward.

I think the one year review will be postponed. Covid has meant that plans have been delayed, and I doubt they have achieved much of what they set out to do by that point

I am not sure that HM will delay the review . Apart from a couple of occasions , HM is good at judging the mood of the nation plus she reads the newspapers and has numerous advisers so will be well aware that H and M’s antics are causing g concern and although she is a loving grandmother , it is The Crown that has to be protected .
