There has been protests outside Buckingham Palace every weekend last month. If there is one tomorrow, I won't be holding my breath for the Brtitish Media to cover it. Even the BBC is not covering.

To be fair, as much as I wish Andrew would be brought to justice, I believe those protests are organised by QAnon, a very worrying far right wing organisation that spreads dangerous propaganda, including being anti-maskers, believing that Covid is a hoax, and they're linked with dangerous fake conspiracy theories like Pizzagate.

They probably think Andrew is a lizard and that the FBI will just switch his heat lamp off for a bit.

Admittedly it's hard to distinguish between working and non-working royals but why we're still paying for protection when this one roves beyond mummy's skirts his pick of plush safe spaces is entirely beyond me.

I don't think we are paying for PA protection. He pays for his DDs so I assume he pays his own too.

P. Anne only gets paid protection when on Royal business.

He does not pay for his own, the queen is reported to have intervened. Presumably she is paying for him.

She also intervened and payedmillions for his chalet for which he owed money.

Though it' still not clear why she could not 'intervene' for her great grandchild baby Archie if she can do it for a 60yr old man.

I can see the exception for Williams who are 3,4,5th in line to the throne.

The Queen may like to sell the story she's paying privately but ultimately it's still the taxpayer when we take into account the various ways she's able to reduce her tax bills and now offload pandemic-related loss of income from the Crown Estate. Protecting him also reduces the number of police officers available to concentrate on more worthwhile work.

Last reports were she hadn't stepped in on the ski hut but it's gone fairly quiet on the court case so it's probably safe to assume she has.

It'd be interesting to know where he gets the funds to pay for his daughters' security among his other luxury toys and baubles.

Anyway. Now seems Virginia Giuffre might be testifying at the trial. I predict a sweaty few months for him while he waits to see.

The Queen gifted him Sunninghill when he married. They divorced. It went into rack and ruin and was eventually purchased for £3M over its asking price (£15M) when it had been on the market for 5 years. Very odd. One can only presume the extra £3M was for Andrew. (no evidence of this but there wouldn't be would there...)
Purchased by Kulibayev, son in law of ex President of Kazaksthan, with very dubious dealings in oil pipelines and arms. He has now knocked it down and rebuilt it and the news story shows the new mansion.

Andrew should be investigated like any other normal person would be facing these allegations. The fact he is avoiding this pretty much makes me think he is guilty.

So despite several crimes committed here in the UK, the Met are not investigating Andrew and the tabloids are keeping quiet. The firm has some proper reach, I have to say. They can shut down any story they want.

Yes, the Palace PR machine has enormous reach. I knew this documentary was on, but it received little press. I wonder why.....

Perhaps November and the Maxwell trial will bring more information and those who deserve justice... get justice. And maybe Andrew's protection won't be so cast iron...

For some reason some elements of our society seem to have a massive blindapot when it comes to safeguarding as powerful institutions always seem to have a group of untouchables who can get around safeguarding without being questioned. It's worrying.

Well.... Cressida Dick was interviewed. (footage in the C4 piece) It was uncomfortable. She said The Met would assist any FBI investigation.
