@yolofish I think Harry and Meghan cared as well and I'm sure the palace will manage to adjust the diaries without them being too overworked! If not they could have negotiated a different deal with the Sussex's. Obviously, there's Andrew's slack to pick up as well.

Andrew is a legitimate point of discussion, as a comparison in terms of M&H's treatment and in terms of how it might influence the palaces strategy in using M&H to keep the heat off Andrew.

I feel sorry for everyone involved in the court case. TM, MM and PH. I cannot even imagine having your dirty laundry aired like that and having family turn on you in that way.

I do think any side has been perfect in this. I haven’t watched the interviews (was too tired for the first and I cannot stand Piers Morgan), but my understanding is that he came across like a horrible, black mailing man. However, it does seem that TM was once close to MM. It also seem that PH thought she never really had a family. Which I find strange.

Also, MMS close friends talked about a loving letter, trying to reconcile. They might have made it up, but seems unlikely. TM seems to think the letter was in no way loving. I guess maybe the trial will show the truths.

There also seem to be serious disagreements about whether or not MM has contacted TM and vice versa. Somebody obviously is lying. I guess this will come out as well. Probably the truth is in the middle.

I'm not a fan of Piers Morgan's style, and find it hard to watch him even when I agree with him. I read a write up in the paper and could only watch the 2nd half but he seemed to be leading him on in the harassment.

If someone for whatever reason, doesn't want to contact their dad, getting them in to ask 'have you asked her mum to get her to see you' and acting like it's normal to do an interview to 'communicate' with them seems like fueling the harassment, "what's your message for the daughter who's made it clear that she doesn't want to see you?". Can't imagine this happening for many other people.

Nope, agree. Must be perfectly awful and if Piers Morgan really said that (sorry, not doubting you, just haven’t watched it) then that sounds like harassment to me.

However, I do think that there is a lot of uncertainty regarding what the truth is regarding MM and TM’s relationship and the interactions. Someone is lying, which I find almost as appalling as the fact that it is being dragged through the courts. I do think that everyone will come out of this looking bad.

In an earlier thread, posters mentioned a twitter feed that hates Meghan and has conspiracy theories about her. I had a look. They are batshit crazy. They are adamant that Meghan was some sort of plant by powerful American people to get at Andrew because of his Epstein involvement. Whether to punish him or keep him from spilling what he knows about others, I’m not quite sure. But hey, silver lining: at least this person who relentlessly criticises Meghan doesn’t fail to mention or criticise Andrew ...

Funnily enough I was with people yesterday that kept referring to Princess Kate & Princess Meghan. Nothing I said made any difference 🤷🏻‍♀️
