Problem is; they have skipped the a Royal fold, and have to pay the real cost of their security and accommodation . They will have to sell every aspect of their Lives to fund this.

I’ve been in bed all day ill and am appreciating this thread.

I find the whole thing extraordinary. Meghan has only officially been on the scene less than 3 years and now she is the scene. Unlike with William and Kate where he’s very much the main event being the royal, this is The Meg Show.

To publish a statement on Instagram where you say you’re going to collaborate with the queen ... absolutely extraordinary.

I totally think Harry wants the glamour and fame too though. Someone I trust who’s worked with him said that he was always more about doing things for show, including mental health endeavours.

So shocking MrsB, especially considering all those renovations. Horrendous.

I don't think anyone should have to curtsy to the Queen or indeed anyone. It's not as if her privileged position isn't obvious enough already so that people have to physically bend down in her presence to show they're aware of it.

Frogmore Cottage was going to be done up & put back to being a house (it had been apartments) long before it was suggested that Meghan & Harry move in.
Originally they wanted to live at Windsor Castle but HMQ didn't fancy having lodgers.

I've been appalled at what's happened. But reading some of the comments I do feel some sympathy for Meghan. I'm not sure why. What has gone so horribly wrong that she can't bear to be in the UK? It makes no sense to me that she came back for what seems like a day to visit Canada House to thank the Canadians for their hospitality. Yet we weren't even supposed to know she was there. I'm really confused about what's happening. I started off angry at their treatment of the Queen now I'm bewildered at what's really going on. She looks a lonely figure getting on that seaplane.
