I bet that was one of those cold summers. More Indian Summer becoming warm in late August/early September.

Kitty’s lost nearly a kilo over the past year which took her to her target weight. We’re hoping it’s down to healthy eating & exercise but I’ve got to take her back in a couple of weeks to make sure she’s stabilised.

Well, the post-catnip zoomies definitely look like good exercise….

Matilda has decreed that the weather is hot for cats and therefore dignity can be disregarded. I can't disagree with her, as I've been wearing a pair of shorts that I ordered from Amazon that are the most unflattering item of clothing I've ever worn. At least we should be cooler tomorrow and hopefully more stylish, or as close to it as I get.

How warm is it in London? @EmpressaurusKitty It's got up to 29 degrees where I am in the East Midlands, but hasn't felt to bad. I think it's a combination of having acclimitised a bit, my house being a Victorian terrace that is usually quite cold and the temperatures dropping overnight to a reasonable temperature to sleep. I imagine a flat in London might be quite uncomfortable still.

After seeing @TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne update I'm curious what the temperature is in your part of Scotland? I'm tempted to move there right now to escape the never ending heat, but I don't think I'm hardy enough for the winters.

It’s about 25 just now & going up to high 20s for the rest of the week. 25 max now feels like a very reasonable temperature.
