After posting on the other thread about sorting a rescue cats diet out, Micia has just rejected 2 options for breakfast and deigned to eat a bit of chicken later.

I know what you mean @Breadcat24 I have a mountain of cat food that they've suddenly decided is no longer suitable for cats. I was getting worried as I was running out of new options to try, but Boris woke me up last week for the first time in ages by divebombing my bed from the top of the door and he's been ravenously hungry ever since. He's decided that Purina is acceptable again, although not the lamb or duck flavours.

Happy Cat Day everyone from Miss B, had her vet check this week, has lost another 100g and is now at 2.25kg but all blood tests, blood pressure etc all fine and is eating well so I’m just keeping everything crossed. She is now 20 but the cat on my cat calendar (from Cats Protection) is 22 so here’s hoping!

Happy International cat day! My photo shows two very cute NMCs in my garden. One of whom was really making themselves at home by having a pee in my planter.

You can tell when the temperature has dropped in my house, as Agatha demands access to Under the Bedding. At stupid o'clock in the morning. She knows it's too early for breakfast, as there's no messing - a cry to the face, pawing at the covers tucked around my head, then straight under when I left them up, and into a comfy sleeping position down my back, or in the curve of my torso.

Sadly, we're back into another heatwave. I don't think she realises. I swear sie triggers more hot flushes than my hormones!

Basil has taken to sleeping by the door in the vain hope that there might be a draft.

I am so proud of Raven tonight. I gave all the cats flea tablets the other evening which led to Toad trying to disembowel me, so Raven didn't get hers. Tonight I put some Lick-e-lix on top of the tablet and she immediate licked it up, including the tablet, no fuss, no drama, just "more Lick-e-lix please". I had tried that with the others but it hadn't worked. She's so good!

Lex and Toad went to the vet today for flea treatment. My friend and I struggled to get them into the carriers but if course, back home, Lex has decided one of the carriers is his new favourite bed.

Naturally. Just until you need him back in there.

Hamish (my NMK) looks very uncomfortable here.

He also almost isn't a kitten anymore. He's a year old now.

I was doing something a bit like that at yoga tonight.

Poor Tobias! He has weigh in at the vets this morning, and as he's a nightmare to catch sometimes I was an evil mama. I woke up for a pee about 1.30am, glanced through their bedroom door & saw him flaked out on his favourite bed and no sign of Girlcat.

So I shut him in.
