Yes I've realised I need to stay but omg my bed is very uncomfortable.

But woke up knowing I was in hospital which is a great improvement

@TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne please stay and keep on with your recovery, hospitals are miserable places to be especially in hot weather, and awful to try to sleep but the best place for you to get your treatment at the moment.
Can your visitors bring you a cool bag full of cold things?

I have let Micia out into the garden (on purpose) we never intended that she would be just indoors and have only left it this long because we had no sense that she came when called etc. But she was so hot it felt mean not to let her get somewhere cool.
She has vanished and I can only hope she comes back- her outside litter tray is there for her to smell.
For those who will say that she will come back when she is hungry there are a lot of pigeon feathers!
Fingers crossed. It is not like I can chase her on one leg.

Good news @Breadcat24 I'm sure Micia enjoyed trying to catch her own snacks, but I'm sure she's used to the home comforts her human slaves provide. How is your knee getting on?

Ours have been staying out at night (dirty stop outs) and snoozing in the house all day. Can't really blame them in this heat.

@HumanToCatBeasties thank you so much. I am much more mobile than I thought I would be- up and down the stairs with crutches. Pain is also less than I expected- although this week the nerves are coming back so it is making me sound like I have Tourettes with sudden swearing!
