The cats need you as healthy as possible though Broon.

Any chance of an 'overnight pass' or some other sort of temporary discharge Broon ? Once you are off the ward then should you become ill again it will be back to square one, ie a hospital miles away.
Or a video call with the cats?
I know hospitals are dire, but it does sound like something has gone on with you that warrants investigation and observation, for your safety and the cats.....

I hope you stayed at the hospital Broon, as you really don't sound well. Can you get the kids to facetime you rather than send photos of the cats,? Seeing them "live" might help. Hopefully your meds kick in soon and you start to feel better

Any possibility that at least Linney could come to visit you at the hospital? See if you can get a "pass" to go as far as the car park and you can have cuddles & fuss in the car.
