Micia has come off the windowsill when my husband was in the room and meowed for the first time.
Downside is I am in London for a conference. She definitely likes him more than me and he has been making her listen to cricket!
To try to make me feel better he said it was a F off type of meow

@TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne yes did not think that through, there is also a black donut bed- so is the black furry cat in the grey furry igloo or the dark coloured donut beds

Well done Tobias! It sounds like he's realised that humans aren't quite as terrifying as he thought.

I bought the bag in Bruges a couple of years ago, because it was in the shop window opposite my hotel & I noticed it every time I went past. The matching cat turned up a month later.

Nearly forgiven - judicious application of ham from both me and Annie helped, though as of this morning he was still a little flighty if he was near somewhere he could be trapped. But he did accept head & neck scritches last night & this morning so not too bad.

I'll see what he's like when I settle down in a bit, only just in from work.

Toad, Frank, and Lex have just been watching me in the kitchen making a giant cheese and onion slice (I couldn't be bothered to fuss about making little ones). They were not very impressed about how little cheese ended up on the floor for them. I feel a complaint may be on its way.

@Pudmyboy You are so sweet to take an interest. I hope she gets a ruff like the lovely Basil ! But she has a blob of white under her chin and a bit of grey around her neck.
She has never been brushed so we are not trying.
Apparantly she was back on the windowsill today so courage gone (not that type of lion/ ruff!)
I am going home early tomorrow as conference is a bit crap, prepared to pay £30 unclaimable to go home to my kitty

I was sitting in my work chair this morning with my knee bent and foot on the chair. Matilda for some reason only known to cats, thought it would be a good idea to try and jump onto my knee. She of course couldn't balance, so dug her claws into my leg before sliding off. I ended up with around six puncture holes in my leg and a ruined pair of tights. It's just as well I'm fond of the furry beast. At least she waited until my meeting was finished.

Obviously for any of this you need a cat that comes out from behind the curtain on the windowsill!
In case you are wondering I blew out the conference dinner and had tesco sushi in my hotel room. Why I came out of retirement for this level of sophisticatin i do not know!

I’ve just been reading some of the write ups for their cat models / actors. Crikey.

Kitty is, obviously, gorgeous & can portray a wide range of emotions but only when she feels like it.
