Does she pull away from sniffing with a glazed expression and her jaw hanging open? I've seen cats (including Pud) do this after a good long sniff at something - I couldn't work out if it was a narcotic or aphrodisiac...freaked me out a bit!

My ex refused to let me have a dishwasher during our long marriage, within the first month of leaving I've bought a slimline one suitable for 5-10 place settings. If you don't have room for a slimline one then there are tabletop dishwashers suitable for 1-2 people. Treat yourself

Cat Four is the equivalent of a k-pop singer, just there for the glam and to enable us to think of better things.

Def go for a dishwasher. When I moved in here 16 or so years ago the vendor offered to leave the slimline dishwasher in for £20, it was already getting on a bit and his new place could fit a full size one. All these years later it's still doing sterling service.

Mine doesn't go on every day by any means. I worked out early on that doing a longer wash every 3 days was cheaper & more environmentally friendly than a short wash every day, and with just me & the cats here even the slimline takes a few days to fill up.

In DH's defence, he does sometimes do washing up.

It is 3.30 am and I have woken up sweating as is my usual routine. Cat One is snuggled up under my arm and Cat Three has hopped onto my legs and gone to sleep. Mr. Agent Of The Patriarchy is snoring peacefully cat free because they know which of us is the superior heat source.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr.Dyson for inventing the hot/cold fan which is undoubtedly the best appliance ever made.
If someone could invent cats that would sleep on Mr. AOTP I would be very grateful.

Cat Two has arrived and is purring on my stomach.

Gizmo has been in my room again.

Cat Two left after some scritches, followed closely by Cat Three. Cat Four then arrived to lie on my heart for a while, and then scampered off. Cat One remains, still snuggled in to my side.
Mr. AgentofthePatriarchy is going to get up for work in a minute and everyone will excitedly run down the stairs for breakfast. (Cat Three and Four are chasing each other in anticipation.) Cat One and Two will return after half an hour. My friend, the fan, will continue its good work til about 7.00 am when I stop running hot. I will wake up at 11.00 with either Two or Three lying next to me and Cat One will lying on Mr. AOTP’s side of the bed as if being glued to my side all night never happened.
I hope everyone else has a better night.
