Update on Ex

DD2 and DS2 have helped him with setting up WiFi and making a set of shelves. DD told me today. I'm fine with that.

He's been placed in temporary accommodation in the village 15 miles away. A single room. He's alone. He's waiting for permanent accommodation. He texted DS2 and asked him for help.

The three of them are not discussing anything about why he left. But the kids feel sorry for him, while feeling also that he's been a complete idiot.

I am still VERY VERY ANGRY. And I hope he's lonely and regretful.

I've found the first cat food which Gizmo has refused to eat : Felix Original Tuna.
He's eating the cod pouch I gave him as an alternative.

I'm afraid we are a household where cats do get moved from seats at times. They usually stay curled on your lap though if you pick them up and plonk them straight down on yourself.

Ah but she had a rough start in life. I'm sure her kittens were little aristocats, but she's been through some things.

On a side note, am I the only one who didn't get the pun until I was well past the target age for The Aristocats? Do children generally know the word aristocrat? I didn't and I was quite a well-read precocious child. I'm quite sure my kids wouldn't, but perhaps I haven't been reading them the right stories.
