From the Pets at Home app it looks like they’re out of stock in lots of places.

We’ve acquired a catnip wand toy. Kitty was off her face last night.

Probably out of stock due to all the Litter Tray residents buying them!

I bought the tribe some catnip balls but they have ignored them. I wanted to get them all stoned 😁

I’ve checked everywhere I’m going to be remotely near in the next month & they’re nowhere. But there has been general nervousness at the idea of Gizmo getting hold of a Ouija board.

Maybe they’d prefer silver vine or valerian, @RumNotRun?

My only nervousness over this is simply the waste of money.

Linney and Gizmo are just not interested in cat toys.

I've said it before here but I wouldn't any of our cats (or Gizmo) anywhere near a ouija board.
Who knows what creepy things with wings and gaunt and grisly spectres they would raise. 😲

There was a daddy-long-legs in the bedroom the other night, come to think of it, but Kitty just stared at it & then went to sleep so I don’t think she summoned it.

@EmpressaurusKitty they like some of their catnip toys, and some of the silvervine ones but for some reason they just don't like these balls.

A cat rescue place near me used to sell "knotties" which were strips of felt knitted around catnip or valerian. The valerian ones absolutely stank but the cats went mental over them. I only bought them occasionally cause the smell was so bad!

Agatha's favourite toy for a while was a cardboard shoe shaper stick-thing which was in a pair of trainers I bought. She eventually bit it in half, so now as 2 smaller toys to kill. 😀. She's a bit of a nip-head, though, so drools on her mice.

A new cat bed arrived today. I'm a bit worried about the tribe as they like it. They have clearly all forgotten how to cat. So far, Fred slept in it for ages, then Raven took over. Lex has finally got to go in the glamping tent and Toad decided he wanted a go too, so the one cat tent is now a super cosy 2 bed, whether Lex likes it or not.

Here are my fancy makeup removers that Cat Four ignored until I bought the super soft red ones. I pegged them to the rack to prevent this carnage. Found one on the stairs. I should probably wash them again because they’ve got cat all over them, but I have cat all over me anyway?

I’m in Australia and buy my makeup stuff mainly from a company called Mecca. They stocked a brand called Lonvitalite? The red ones are Mecca brand microfibre ones. Super good at removing mascara. I used to dry them in a dish rack but Cat One would knock them down and then Four started carrying them off. Am going to have to lock them into a room to dry.
I am helpless before the glory that is Cat Four’s tail. I mean really.

BreadCat - I'm so sorry to hear your news 💔 The Cat Distribution Service sent us four hungry strays after our beautiful girl passed. We gave up and accepted our fate with the last one but it did take us three years.

Kettle's been for his MOT today and he's lost half a kilo since they last saw him - the vet was really pleased with him. So success despite all his yoghurt stealing.

He's probably happy to come home from the vet without a cone on for once.
