The only time I’d seen her in that bed before, her son had immediately jumped on the roof with obvious results. He was a lovely boy & he’s in a happy home of his own now. He was just very kitten.

Am home. Agatha cried for a while, and is now happy on my lap, not looking like she's going to let me go to bed! Will clear my cache and hopefully be able to load photos soon...

I'm on a roll with cat presents. I bought them a new bed (why!!!) and so far Fred and Raven have slept in the dent on top. I'm surprised either of them fit cause it's not a very big dent.

Raven also went into the tunnel part, got almost all the way round and then decided to reverse out.

It looks very cosy.

Oh God, the trauma just earlier… the Ouija board ran out of charge, 3 mins before I had to go into a Zoom meeting. Wide-eyed horror & almost yowls as she tried to make it move, then watching closely as I plugged it in, & now either sulking or sleeping, I’m not sure which.

Lol. Agatha has been velcro'd to my side. She did let me go to bed, but was waiting for me to get in, so she could sit on me. Under the duvet. Tbh, she was nice and warm, so I let her, until she started making biscuits on my stomach.

I'm WFH today, with lots of calls. She's made her presence known on all of them by trying to sit on my lap, shouting at the screen, flicking her tail across my face etc.... 🤣. She's very happy that the heating went on, though (old house, felt very cold). She finally gave up shouting at me, so she could snooze in front of a radiator.

Herbie has been having fun with his toys, but mainly with his shoelace. He does like the purple cat. We call it purple puss.
Maybe he's trying to convince me he does need an ouija board after all.

And an all action shot...I pull the shoelace along under the rug and he goes berserk chasing it!

What I love about the Ouija board is that Kitty plays independently with it, so it takes up her mental & physical energy while I’m working / busy. Her other favourite toys mainly involve us playing together.

I think my crime was not turning the ouija board on for him. Poor little Frederick, he's taken to pouncing on it even when it's not moving.

I decided to buy a cat ouija board the other day, but they're out of stock.

My cats are terrified of self moving toys. Turn one on and they all run away.

Breadcat, the person pressuring you thinks they’re helping you, as well as solving where to home the cat in question. After Cat Ground Zero passed away, it was three years before I could even think of another cat. It’s okay to say “no” if that’s how you feel. The Cat Distribution system will take care of the other cat if you’re not ready.
Explain you wouldn’t take on another husband straight away, either.

Oh no, I was contemplating buying a second one as a back up for when they destroy this one. I may need to take a trip to Pets at Home and see if there are any in store.
