She was 16 and with us for 9 years. I am going to post some pictures because you lot telling me she was beautiful makes me feel better

I'm crying, typing this. It's a shock for you, and Breadcat will never be forgotten. You had her for such a long time and loved her so much.

I am so so sorry.
I left work at 6 and thought of you, that you would either be at the vets or you had had the phone call.
I knew when I saw how many replies there were on this thread, that you had the phone call.

I know it's very little consolation, 16 is a good age, and she went to Rainbow Bridge knowing she was very very loved.

Aw bless you Bread, she was so gorgeous & I always loved seeing new pics of her.

Not really much of a consolation, but sounds like it was pretty quick at the end.

So sorry to see the sad news about breadcat she was beautiful, she reminds me of my teenage cat Meg just the same colouring and also a beautiful soul just like bread.
