I live about a mile from the sea! 'Pinchy' as I affectionately name him kind of lives in my garden but I got a hell of a fright when I found him at 6.30am - in my uncaffeinated state I thought he was an exotic tarantula 😂

The cats came in and stared at him in disbelief, I grabbed the broom to try to sweep him outside but he scuttled down the side of the dishwasher 😳 I had to wait until my neighbour came home for lunch and explained to him in Greek that there's a crab behind the dishwasher 😂 Neighbour kindly extracted Pinchy and chucked him back in the garden 😅 He went on to tell me he's a freshwater crab and they get washed down in rivers after heavy rain, just as well I didn't take him to the beach then 🦀

I love Raven's pose on her chaise longue. I think she is currently the most elegant cat on the thread after Kitty's most recent photo put her out of the running.

Not entirely sure what Boris was doing here, but it definitely wasn't elegant.

Raven's poses are usually more like Kitty's.

Kitty’s sure Raven would agree with her that you can’t be elegant all the time. I think she wants a chaise longue now.

I think I got it from Amazon. It's made from corrugated cardboard so madam likes to scratch heck out of it and then pose.

I think I went for the boring option of a corrugated cardboard scratcher with a box. I should definitely have gone for a chaise longue or I think Kitty's skateboard was similar.

Kitty has definitely gone back to her usual elegant self in that photo.

Ha ha ha - Pa Broon has asked me to cook a chicken the day before I go to London "to last him six days".

The skateboard was passed on from a friend whose cats weren’t interested in it, funnily enough. We swapped it for a wand toy.

Kitty does have her stool to be elegant on though. It doubles up as my footstool when she’s not using it.

Gizmo has just caused four magpies to become enraged, so they decided to menace him.

We heard them making a lot of noise and saw Gizmo running for his life back to the house, tail between his legs and clearly startled.

He now wants to go back out, of course.
