What foods does your cat unexpectedly really like?

Every time I have raspberries one of my kittens (Fynn) comes to mug me for one and he won't leave me alone until I surrender a raspberry. I did google to make sure they were safe before I gave him one, and he has just one every other day and he LOVES it!

Sybil would murder for porridge.
A previous cat I had used to beg for hot chilli peppers 😲.

Watermelon.

My cat likes to lick houmous or anything tomato based! She once licked my plate after I'd finished Shaksuka 😂

Ooh I forgot to add to my OP, I knew someone whose cat was a fiend for crisps! She would hop up on the worktop, pinch a bag of crisps and claw at it until it split open and she'd eat them!

Carrots! My girl goes wild every time I cook carrots!

Vixen likes chocolate cake and chocolate ice cream. Toad likes coffee cake.

Frankenstein will eat anything that's on my plate, whether it's meat, veg, or pasta.

We don't encourage it but one of ours will pester us for popcorn!

Any crisp that isn't salt and vinegar.

Dcat1 loves a curry, the hotter the better
Dcat2 will eat anything even inedible things like plastic bags the little sod
Dcat3 refuses everything but dry kibble, turns his nose up at tuna, prawns, salmon etc

My late cat loved a chip shop chip, custard, home made ice cream

Our big ginger used to love wotsits and cheese savouries biscuits.....used to try and pinch anything lol.

Broccoli, crisps and cheese. He hears cheese being taken out of the fridge no matter how sound asleep he is.

An old friend loved chocolate digestives. She licked all the chocolate off before munching down the biscuit.

Euphrasie rejects all human food, except corn on the cob. She stalks it, pounces, runs off to a dark corner and proceeds to hold it down with one paw whilst stripping it bare.

🤣I made ice cream for the kids, strawberry flavour, cat asked for some. I showed her the spoon to show her she wouldn't want it. Turned out she did.

My cat used to love lettuce and cheese and onion crisps.

Cat 1: all baked goods especially toast and marmite. Can hear a breakfast tray from a hundred yards.
Almost any other human food. Has a fine sense of the time of the evening when DDs packed lunch of chicken wrap is being made and turns up for his share.

Cat 2: desperate not to miss out on anything Cat 1 may be having so guilts you until you give him a bit. Then sniffs it and wanders off in a puzzled and offended fashion while Cat 1 hoovers it up.
