What foods does your cat unexpectedly really like?

Every time I have raspberries one of my kittens (Fynn) comes to mug me for one and he won't leave me alone until I surrender a raspberry. I did google to make sure they were safe before I gave him one, and he has just one every other day and he LOVES it!

Cheddar. But only extra mature or vintage. Purrs so loudly and dribbles 😂

Many years ago we adopted a cat after his owner had died and Bruno loved a bowl of boiled peas.

When my cat was diagnosed with cancer we had roast chicken every single Sunday for nine months just so she could have some.

My little girl loves marmite!

Never met a cat who doesn't like marmite 🤣

Ah, I had a cat like that growing up. You couldn’t eat crisps in her presence as she would literally claw your hands to get them (otherwise a super friendly cat!). Any flavour too - she would lick the flavouring off them before crunching the crisp.

A great side perk of it was you could “call” her into the house by rustling a pack of crisps at the door; she would come running from wherever she was in the neighbourhood to get them!

Cucumber - they go mad for it being chopped!

Mine is too busy murdering and devouring small rodents. People food is beneath him 😂

Salt & vinegar pringles, tandoori chicken, pancetta (not bacon - very fussy), mashed potato, Mr whippy ice-cream, tuna in hellmans mayo (must be hellmans), rare roast beef.

Previous cat loved egg yolk, fried but preferably poached - current cat behaves as though its being offered poison if im eating egg and offer him some!

My Wilfred would kill for a piece of cherry Madeira cake and marmite crisps.

Baked Beans!

My lovely late cat loved a tomato. We used to keep them on the kitchen side and she would jump up and grab a whole one and run off with it. We had to start keeping them in the fridge.

Cold mushroom soup is a definite favourite here🤷‍♀️

Cheese, and buttered toast crusts, which she likes to lick until they are soggy

Also very partial to a glass of Dr Pepper ... doesn't drink it but sniffs it out and acts like it's catnip

Peas! And green beans. My dd went to give her one messing about and she ate it!

One likes tangy cheese Doritos, but only to lick the coating off. He leaves the actual doritos to be disposed of by me.

The other has a teaspoonful of sour cream in her bowl every morning. She won't touch plain yogurt, creme fraiche, milk or any other diary substance (rightly so) but sour cream has her running the length of the house to get it.

Poppadoms. She'll hound me for them!

My family cat and first true love was an absolute fiend and would eat anything. She loved cheese, pasta and crisps - she would come running if she spotted a Pringles tube!! My dad would occasionally indulge in a kebab on a weekend and the cat would be always know, no matter how many doors he closed to try and avoid her getting a whiff. She’d be round his feet begging for some kebab! In the end, he started ordering two so he didn’t mind sharing so much of it 😂 she was also partial to some freshly baked fruit loaf. I was quite horrified to learn currants can be poisonous to cats but our lady lived to 19 and none of her strange snacks did her any harm.
my current cat is much more simple, she just wants meat and tuna. Though she is obsessed with trying to eat plastic 🙃

One of mine loves crisps, cheese and yoghurt 🥴
The other eats the kids crusts, takes any leftovers in reach, and waits to lick the top of the yoghurt pot or frube 🍓

One is a big fan of scrambled egg, beans, brown sauce and buttered toast.

The other we don't indulge as he has a sensitive tummy but has a sweet tooth and is partial to ice cream, haagen dazs pralines and cream for preference

Cheddar loved bread and pasta, pork Chop, steak. She loved to try and steal any food she could get. Magic loved baked bean juice. And steak.

My old boy was obsessed with any form of dairy as well as jacket potatoes with beans
I had to drink a Starbucks Frappuccino standing up or I got mugged
