I'm amazed that the first thread has filled up. So he's another thread about the inmates of Toddler Towers!

Looking lush x

learieonthewildmoor · 09/07/2024 22:08

Amazing eyes, nearly as pretty as Penelope’s.

Toddlerteaplease · 10/07/2024 22:30

Pads has trashed another Yeoww toy. I thought they were supposed to be robust. Cheaper toys have survived unscathed, although he's probably not as rough with them! There is cat nip everywhere!

I think more than a comment on their robustness, it's more a comment on just how irresistible Paddington finds them.

Toddlerteaplease · 11/07/2024 10:10

Penelope's mollie mouse, also now has a hole on it. Time for a pawdicure!

Paddington do you really need to scoop your wet food out of the bowl with your paw? (I have to say I'm impressed with his dexterity in eating one morsel off his paw)

That sounds adorable!!

Toddlerteaplease · 11/07/2024 11:15

I have to admit, it's very cute. He's just a tiny tornado!

OP posts:
Toddlerteaplease · 11/07/2024 12:29

Maybe not the tiny bit, but definitely a tornado!

Several Yeeoow catnip toys have been completely trashed in this house. Neither the stitching nor the fabric are very strong. I have resorted to sewing another layer of fabric over the toys like a second skin.

The catnip does go everywhere!

Toddlerteaplease · 11/07/2024 14:53

@TheLongRider doesn't it just!

Possible progress but not sure. There was two nuggets of poo on the landing, which indicates that Penelope has come out of the bedroom while Paddington was on the loose. I suspect he's tried to jump on her windowsill. That always upsets her.

The little grey slug, poked her head around the shower curtain, this morning. And looked very puzzled. I got out to find her sitting in the sink. 🤣🤣 unfortunately she moved before I could get a photo. She wasn't sure if Pads had been let out. So that's progress I think.

Two months today since Paddington arrived. Penelope still not keen. She has started lashing out, to which he doesn't react at all. She poos when she's angry. They are going to the cattery this week. Hopefully bring on neutral ground might help. I'm really nervous about it.

Sandwichgen · 13/07/2024 19:08

Maybe, as a reminder of home, she will cling to him a bit?

Toddlerteaplease · 13/07/2024 19:40

That's what I'm hoping.

Paddington has caught a mouse!

learieonthewildmoor · 14/07/2024 20:42

My goodness, he killed it thoroughly!

Toddlerteaplease · 14/07/2024 21:13

He seems to destroy all cat nip toys!

OP posts:
learieonthewildmoor · 14/07/2024 21:26

I could understand him getting through the Yeoww toy because they often have a bit where it’s hand stitched - but my goodness, he’s a killer! 😄

Toddlerteaplease · 15/07/2024 01:33

He's constantly chasing insects. He sees himself as an Apex Predator. I'm not so sure!

OP posts:
Toddlerteaplease · 15/07/2024 01:33

Penelope could eat him for breakfast if she chose!

OP posts:
Allergictoironing · 15/07/2024 06:48

Are you really sure he's a Persian, and not something like a Bengal who's undergone surgery while under the auspices of the Identity Protection service?

Toddlerteaplease · 15/07/2024 08:17

@Allergictoironing I'm really beginning to wonder. I'm also not sure about Penelope either. I expected, much more sedentary creatures, who were not interested in toys and just lounged around looking beautiful. And definitely didn't jump!

OP posts:
Toddlerteaplease · 15/07/2024 08:19

I am not sure he's got the brains to be a bengal masquerading as a Persian though. The lights are on, but no one is home! Penelope is another matter, as I said in my last post. Now she could be a bengal in disguise.
