I'm amazed that the first thread has filled up. So he's another thread about the inmates of Toddler Towers!

I've got big version of the Buzz Aldrin one, with a moose head, that everyone hates. I love it!

Just saw a pic of pens eye on the talking cat thread. Poor little girl. It does look very sore. What causes the ulcers?

@Soubriquet I wish I knew. Then we could solve the problem for good. Poor thing, every time I go towards her, she thinks I'm going to put something in her eyes or ears.

I don’t blame her being wary. It musnt be comfortable for her

He's lovely! We've applied for a couple of cats from Protected Paws but sadly neither were suitable. I'll definitely be keeping a look out on their FB and website

I've just broken Paddington's heart. i had ti throw his favourite toy away, as it has a hole in. (despite being supposedly indestructible) He's giving me the big eyes, and a sad face!

Forgot my phone, so went back to get it. I as surprised to see Pad in Pens spot. So went to investigate. They are both sitting on the windowsill. She's growling, he's completely oblivious.

As they seem to like window sills, you might want to get a couple of these. Our cats love them, folded in half lengthwise they fit perfectly on a window sill. Probably the most-used cat "beds" we've ever bought (one of mine is sitting on hers in the sunshine even though she must be roasting!)

Meant to add, I can't quite figure out the body language in your pic. You say Pen is growling and she looks to have airplane ears going on which is usually an "unhappy" sign, but she's remained in a reclined sitting position and not vacated her spot so she may just be asserting her position as top cat.

Pads looks oblivious - he might be like one of my Mum's Persians who went his own sweet way regardless of 2 other Persians and a chunky grumpy British Blue in the house!

She always has airplane ears when he's around. But aside from growling shows no other aggression. And doesn't move. If it was the other way round, he would have to go back. But I think he's realising she's the boss. He just doesn't react.
Been to the vet. Eye is improving but very slowly. Going to review again next week. And if it's not significantly improved, she will have it debrieded under anaesthetic. She wanted to wait two weeks but I'm
Busy most of July then on holiday. So better do it sooner rather than later.

I've moved Pens food back to where it used to be, to try and persuade her to go down stairs again. Hopefully she will find it.

Pads is shut in the living room over night still.

By 4am she hadn't eaten. So I moved it back upstairs. She was very purry and snuggly though.

Thought we were doing better. But Pads has just pounced on Penelope. I genuinely think he just wants to play. He wasn't displaying any signs of aggression. And didn't make any noise. She's not happy about it at all. He's the most playful cat I've had. He loves toys.

Paddington is exhausted!

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get through to Paddington, that Penelope isn't a toy, and she doesn't want to play with him. He is gorgeous and lovely, but spectacularly thick!!!

Ah, if you find that out can you let me know too. Eko isn’t the sharpest tool in the box either and thinks Boone is his best toy. Which doesn’t end well for anyone.

Tire him out yourself so that he just wants to sleep, if possible.

We had to play with our menace for a good hour solid every day.

@fieldsofbutterflies yes, I've tried that. He loves playing with his toys. He doesn't seem to have read the 'How to be. Persian' text book. He's active and playful. Loves chasing plastic springs and catnip toys. None of my others have ever been into that. Cheddar occasionally played with springs, it not often. She just wanted to be cuddled!

Penelope just needs to put him in his place, but she won't!
