Does Paddington behave differently at weekends?

@LlynTegid I work shifts, so he is like The Dowager Duchess "what is a weekend"!! If he didn't try to get near her, she'd be fine. But he's frightened her by jumping on her to play. And I don't know how to get through to him, to leave her alone!!

@Soubriquet of course a collection of Clarice Cliff isn't more important than him. I envy that collection. But with the thundering elephant that he is, I don't think they'd last long!

could you get him a treadmill/ cat wheel thing- and teach Pen how to turn it on!

Maybe you need a kitten for Pads to play with so Pen gets some peace? (Not actually a serious suggestion)

@OccasionalHope not a bad idea! He's eating cheaper less smelly food. Yippee. Will try Her Royal Higness on it. But not holding my breath. Although it was the only wet food Magic would eat!

I couldn't find Pad's poo bags the other day. Thought I was loosing the plot. He's just climbed onto the bookcase, and picked up the roll in his mouth and put them on the rug. (Maybe not so thick after all!)

So it would appear that Pads isn't quite the macho boy he likes to think he is. He's hiding behind the sofa, from the cleaner. Apparently he always hides from her.

Even a large cat fears being vacuumed.

She hadn't even got the hoover out!

Wondering if introducing The new lions at Yorkshire Wildlife park, was as stressful as Pen and Pads!

Penelope is definitely feeling better. She's looking very imperious this morning.

Pen looks so much better toddler, just wish she would stand up to Pad now!

She's off all painkillers and only had gabapentin if she's a bit stressed. She just needs to give him a smack! She sits and growls but doesn't do anything else. And he's just not getting the message. He just thinks she wants to play. They are going to the cattery in two weeks. So I'm hoping some neutral ground might help. And they will both be nervous.

@Toddlerteaplease maybe Pen needs a robotic hoover for protection from Pad
