I am not bloody calling it Velcro!!

Please help me with a name for these two. The black one just wanted neck snuggles so my DD in all of her wisdom has nicknamed her Velcro but this is me putting my foot down. Its not happening.

There's always Teazle/Teasel, the plant used to be used to comb fabric and the seed heads are certainly sticky like Velcro.

Velcro is a great cat name though...

magnet is a fab name for a clingy cat. I’m an extremely literal pet namer though. We have PC for pussy cat and FBC for fucking big cat (Maine coon adopted us).

Velcro is a brilliant name, I wish I had named my dog that, suits him perfectly.

I am afraid I am team velcro as well. Velcro and zippy are brill, I also like. Velcro and Velvet.

Velcro's a brilliant name. The other one's Popper, obvs. You can pretend she's named after Karl, very scientific etc and will make you seem intellectual!

Only trouble with paired names is, ime, that one inevitably dies early, through accident or birth defect, so I never recommend it; having said that we have called our latest two Mabon and Harvest and you can't get much more paired than that! Both are idiots too, dim dim dim! Very funny and cute with it though ♥️♥️♥️

Many years ago, we went on a holiday and the kids entertainers were called JemJem and RoRo so Jemima is a nod to an amazing holiday.
