I am not bloody calling it Velcro!!

Please help me with a name for these two. The black one just wanted neck snuggles so my DD in all of her wisdom has nicknamed her Velcro but this is me putting my foot down. Its not happening.

Velcro is obviously short for Lady Velcretia Puddington. Her sister is Lady Violet.

OP, 'Velcro' the company actually threatened to sue me for using their 'registered trademark' in a listing on eBay. 😂😂. I wouldn't saddle a kitten with the name of overzealous twats.

Give in to the Velcro. I found that out the hard way.

I have a snoozing Maine Coon cat downstairs - pedigree, champion bloodline etc. I named him Orion. Everyone else started calling him Meep, thanks to my three-year-old.

Guess which name stuck?

Velcro and Zippy are awesome names.

We had a pair called Velcro and Blu Tack 😄

Plus letting children (even if adults) name pets totally ludicrous things is much more fun than sensible naming patterns

And it's a lovely reminder of them after they leave home (kids not pets).
