I am not bloody calling it Velcro!!

Please help me with a name for these two. The black one just wanted neck snuggles so my DD in all of her wisdom has nicknamed her Velcro but this is me putting my foot down. Its not happening.

I was TeamVelcro till someone mentioned the lawyers. They even have a video that appears to be aimed at the public. you didn’t buy Velcro shoes - self fastening if you please and it is not a noun, Don’t say Velcro
The name originates from Velvet and Crochet so maybe Velvet for one.

Sorry - Velcro and Zippy are great names!

I had cats called Sooty and Sweep, Elsa and Tufty and a psychopathic Tom called Loki.

I have a cat with the posh name of Florence, whose actually called Flops. My bro had one called Snirt. Hilarious at the vets ...is Snirt Jones here?

Can I also add in my house we have had : itchy and scratchy (degus)
Peter rabbit and miss piggy ( both male hamsters )
Ant and Dec (also hamsters but girls)
We are all older and wiser so we now have moronic mutt and Lucius ( dog and hamster both female ) next pets are lined up to be Gary and Dave

Fortunately, you can only infringe trade marks if you do it in the course of trade. So unless Velcro is planning to set up her own business, the OP is safe.
