Hi mumsnetters. I’ve been to view this gorgeous cat today. Pending a home check, I’ve reserved him and will be bringing him home next week! I’m in love.

His name is Rodney! I can’t wait to bring him home. He knew exactly how to manipulate me into reserving him, snuggling up against my side. He’s approximately five years old and has a weirdly long toe on one of his feet. I’m in love!

I have had cats before but not for a while. I’ve no doubt whatsoever that Rodney will very quickly rule the roost. He was in a very bad way when the rescue took him on though, so I think he’s currently enjoying living like a king.

To PP who asked, I think I’ll keep his name as it suits him!

Ahhhh he is gorgeous and Ive read that ginger male cats are the friendliest ( though that might be a myth perpetuated by Ginger Male Cats Grin )

Once he's in his new house he looks the type that'll stroll about , checking your lightfittings for dust muttering "Yes , this will do for now ..." Wink

(My two cats have been making do with us for neary 4 years . CPL on speed dial but they CBA calling in to whinge about me )

He was a stray taken in by a rescue centre. Was very underweight and in a pretty bad state skin wise. He’s now been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped etc and hopefully will settle in very well with me!
