Leroy just bit the back of my leg. I was booking him in for his annual vaccs and check up so I know exactly what he was trying to say 😂

A number of you provided helpful advice and comments on this thread about DS2's mystery university contact, for which many thanks. (Posted 6th June). After some debate we decided not to follow it up (still think it was very odd though).
As an update I'm pleased to report that he's received his required Music A level result today and his place had been confirmed on UCAS. 😁
So from October it will just be Mrs Grumpy, me, and the 4 fluffies rattling around in the house.

I've just booked Ollie for tomorrow. My vet is independent and so lovely "you get paid next week? Fine, we can't have him ruining your carpets with his silly throwing up habit, fetch himself in"

@LostCats I love that story, he looks so unimpressed with the attention. If cats could save your life they wouldn’t bother 😹twice. Ours spends her time trying to end me.

Is she a tortie or black? She’s very pretty, clearly having an existential crisis but attractive with it.

She's Tortie and both have existential crises for at least two hours before feeding time every day.

Massive congrats 🥳 to Mr and Mrs Grumpy and of course DS for being such superb progeny. He’ll have a blast with his new rakish, glamorous bestie trespassing all over, endless nights on the tiles, breaking into people’s rooms and thieving food and drink - and might meet acceptable new humans too.

Thanks all - hope nobody minded me indulging in a bit of parental pride. I'm afraid however I have no intention of making TC a surrogate DS2.
Basil celebrated DS2's result by (very unusually for him) attacking a pigeon on the patio today. Pigeon made a getaway minus half its feathers.

We de-flead Leroy earlier. There was limited bloodshed but DS has gone clubbing to recover... I've told him if he doesn't get some dodgy food from a back street kebab shop afterwards it's not proper clubbing.

He probably thinks I'm trying to kill him 😂
