Lana I'm not surprised you miss Cap'n. To be honest, I still get a jolt every time I see the thread title tbh, and I never even met the ginger fluffball. You could see his character and the love between you two though.

Our bathroom revamp has drastically run over schedule due to the builder being unwell. I've had a week of "I'll be round at (time)" followed by "still not well, other builder will be round", stuff not turning up so limited work being done each day.

I've arrange for them to come back on Thursday so I've got a couple of "days off" and I can get stuff done.

Leroy is as happy as a pig in clean surroundings 'cause he can snooze quietly on the bed again 😁

It’s good to know the builders have Leroy’s snack ‘n’ nap timetable at the forefront of their planning.

I used to do interiors shoots - basikerly, you get let into a dodgy ‘oligarch’’s house in South Ken by the trained-assassin-butler - and the one no-no of all time was a straw hat. People put them in to outside shots to add light to green spaces and make empty furniture look less tragic but they scream fakery.

If you want to add light (you do) put in some pale green glasses and a jug. Or pee in a wine glass and stick a bottle saying Soave next to it.

I used to lure the owners’ exquisitely groomed but grumpy Persians into shot. 😎

Unfortunately Leroy is loving the cardboard boxes that are now in the garden. The collection is expanding and he couldn't be happier. They'll be taken when they finish and poor Ro will be bereft 🤦🏼‍♀️

I can tell you which one it is - the huge mouldy box, in which the builders transported kit from their last job, labelled BIG JOHN BARIATRIC TOILET SEAT. Suspiciously damp, whiffy.

Mr C stood by the rubbish and mewed with rage if I dared bin anything bigger than an aspirin packet.

There’s me thinking photo shoots would be boring.

In other news I went to the dentist this afternoon. He gave me a scale and polish 😣 and repaired a filling and changed me £122 😱 15 minutes I was in the chair 😱 feel like I've been mugged 🤣🤣

That’s London prices, House. Ouch. But what can dentists do? Yacht berths cost a lot, especially the ones next to the vet’s fleet of pleasure cruisers.

My dentist has 5 children and is taking them on holiday to brixham today for a week. He needs every penny he can squeeze out of people 🤣🤣

Tbh I'd rather be me than him this morning 🤣🤣

Dental is the profession to go for now, sod being a dr be a dentist instead and have a work life balance. Obv do not have 5 kids because that’s just insane.
